Celebrate @RavenMcAllan's #newreleases #mm #bdsm #giveaway P.A.Partner with @evernightpub

Happy Saturday, folks.  I hope your week has been fantabulous, as my kids would say. We've been away on hols, and had a great time in Cumbria. Such a beautiful part of the UK. The weather was mostly kind to us too.

Now to finish off the great week, I have the super duper Raven McAllan here, who by all accounts had a pretty good week too. Well, she met up with me after all..

*grins*

Take it away, Raven

****

It's been one of those weeks.
One of those Chair Swivel Jiggle YEE HAA sort of weeks.
Not only did I meet up with Doris and my grandson, but I sort of had two books out.
Almost do I hear you say? How come almost?
Well, are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin. (Anyone else old enough to know where that phrase comes from? First correct answer wins an eBook from my back list.)

Oh, I know, I know!
*jumps up and down*
Oh, it's my blog - duh. Can't enter.
*grumbles*

Well, come one folks, you know don't you? Leave Raven a comment.

Anyway, I digress. I'm good at that. And procrastinating.

So, on Wednesday P.A. Partner was released by Evernight Publishing. I was driving to meet Doris, so I had no net, and when we met up… My phone was smugly saying no service no service.
Doris' phone was in a better mood and she gave me the great news. The book was up on Amazon with a five star review. That was fantastic to hear. So not only was I able to catch up with her and her family, I had a book out, and a great review. We had a brilliant catch up and I picked her brains over a print book back cover blurb. (Miss Simpkins' School for Seduction Vol. 1, due out in August.)
I followed the fantastic day up by visiting my son at Kirkwood Farm Holidays near Lockerbie where he works. It's a great farm estate with holiday cottages. I got to feed the orphan lambs… He, typical male, always thinking of his stomach, asked me not to forget to buy the mint sauce! I covered my lamb—Pixie's—ears. Nasty man.

It meant of course, still no net. He only gets to phone me when he's in a field or around the main cottage area. I was lucky enough to sample the new 5* holiday farmhouse, which has its own area of heaven, and I wasn't going to get the net turned on just for me. To be honest, in one way the lack of net, TV, and people worked so well. I got a lot of editing done, but I missed not being able to chat with you all.
So after an amazing Thai meal, lamb cuddling, feeding and quad bike riding, plus a fantastic night's sleep in a top-notch farmhouse, I get home to discover P.A. Partner had a lovely shiny Are star and is an Amazon best seller. Mega chair swivel jiggle.

Just in case you think "ohhh now then, I like the sound of that", I'll put the blurb and links at the end of this ramble.
To end such a great week, book one of Diomhair, Secrets Shared came out on general release.
You can imagine how excited I am with all this going on…
Can I pimp please? I didn't take Budda chocolate. Oh okay I did take Edinburgh Rock (400% sugar) but hey he was on holiday…

So let's brag a bit…
P.A. Partner…

Martin has had the hots for his boss for as long as he can remember, so when Byron declares he needs a date to keep his mother off his back, of course Martin jumps at the chance.
He has one condition—he wants a night of unbridled sex with his boss. From P.A. to partner, can they make it last, or is this strictly a one time only offer?

A wee tease…

"Well, Boss?" Martin waggled his ears and crossed his eyes, two tricks Byron envied. Combined with a cock—coated with pre cum—that stood up proudly out of its nest of hair, and the faint sheen of perspiration that covered his body, it could have been silly, but it wasn't. It was climax inducing, erotic thoughts and needs.
"Oh, very well." Byron walked slowly across the carpeted floor to the edge of the bed, and opened the cupboard placed along side of it.
He took out condoms and lube and handed them to Martin before climbing on to the mattress to kneel at Martin’s feet.
Carefully, Byron lifted Martin's legs, so Martin's heels rested on Byron's shoulders, and his ass was a few inches off the sheets. The perfect position to fill him. Then he took the condom packet and slid the latex sheath out of it.
"Next time I'm going to ask you to put this on me. This time I want to come in you, not on you, so I daren't. Will you hand fuck yourself, Mart? Show me what you like while I get ready to cock fuck you?"
Martin's eyes blazed, and he licked his lips.
 Fuck, that's sexy.
"My pleasure."

(also at Are and Bookstrand)

and a wee hint about Secrets Shared…

Diomhair.
Secret. What's happens there stays there.
It doesn't matter whether you want to learn or teach, be in control or controlled, Diomhair could be the place for you.
The ruined castle deep in the Scottish countryside had been rebuilt into an exclusive, private, BDSM club, where people could learn about and enjoy the lifestyle.
Not everyone approved, and not everyone appreciated it, but for those who did and fit the criteria, it was somewhere to go and be themselves, relax and play.
And if you found love there, your own perfect match, well that could only be a bonus.
For isn't the secret to true love the biggest secret of all?

And to tease you…
They say never share a secret. Sometimes though, it’s the only thing to do.
Jess is looking forward to her night out clubbing with her best friend, but her anticipation turns to dismay when she realises the venue is a BDSM club not the disco she’d envisioned. After a disastrous experience with the lifestyle in her past, she’s adamant she wants nothing to do with it now.

David agreed to pick up his friend’s sister as a favour, and is surprised to find himself instantly attracted to the fiery Jess. The experienced Dom recognises Jess’ bluster for what it is—fear. There is no doubt in his mind that Jess is submissive, but getting her to accept that fact will take some doing.
David is determined to help her, but it is up to Jess to accept. When Jess does give in to her secret desires, can she truly let go and be the sub David is looking for, or will she hold onto her secrets?
At Diomhair you never know what will happen in the end.

Flash Fiction Friday - Getting Noticed #FFF

Happy Friday, folks. My flash today is all about getting noticed...

Heart beating in his throat, he waited in line with the others. If this didn't get him noticed then he didn't know what else to do.
He daren't look toward the approaching footsteps, lest the guard would see the excitement in his eyes. If that bastard thought he actually wanted to see the head of the prison, he would throw him into isolation again.
Josh had seen it happen too many times. This was his chance and he was going to take it.
The heavy footsteps finally stopped in front of him and he held his breath. What would happen?

Friday Flashers have 100 words to tell a story from the provided picture prompt. Do check out the other flashers. You won't be disappointed. :-)
Till next week, folks.

#Guestinterview with @CaseyMoss_ #newrelease Open World @evernightpub

I have the lovely Casey in my hot seat today, so settle in to get to know her, as she tells us about her newest release

****

Q. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Currently a resident of the hot, high desert in the southwest, I knew I wanted to write at a young age, as early as I learned to read, cooking up stories to entertain myself in the rural area I had lived in. But I took a roundabout way to settle down as a fiction writer, having worked in the corporate and real estate realms writing newspaper articles, press releases, corporate newsletters, etc. Now that I’m settled in the desert, I’ve returned to my first love: creative writing. When I’m not working at my computer cooking up another tale, I can be found hanging out with my husband and cat, reading a book, chillin’ in front of the TV, or working on a craft project. I’ve also been known to play WOW and other computer games.
I received “the calling” to be a writer in the sixth grade, though I had been writing earlier than that and always had a sense that’s what I’d do when I grew up. Back in middle school, I remember getting an A on an English project and that’s when my inner voice/sixth sense said I would definitely write for a living.
I’ve been studying the craft of writing since my early teens. It started with working on the school newspaper in middle school to creative writing classes and Teens Art Festivals in high school. I received my BA in Communications, Information and Library Studies from Rutgers College with a strong concentration in English Lit/Writing and Interpersonal Communications/PR. Studying under the mentorship of Terri Valentine (author of 'Sands of Time,' a Zebra Historical Romance), I honed my novel writing skills. Now I find myself taking the occasional online class and devouring all the writing how-to books I can get her hands on.

Q. What made you write ‘this’ story?

The world of C.O.V.E.N. (Clans of Vegas – Endless Night) first appeared in Evernight Publishing’s anthology Keyboards & Kink (available here: http://www.evernightpublishing.com/keyboards-and-kink/ & at other fine e-tailers) in Casey’s story, AFK.
In AFK, we saw a peek into I-D-8 Entertainment’s in-production MMORPG: Clans of Vegas – Endless Night, also known as C.O.V.E.N. when Beth and another gamer got sucked into the game for real.
Now, when it comes to Open World, it’s actually made up of parts from two novellas that had been previously published. Those stories were my very first published ones released in 2008 under my alter ego’s name. A few years ago, I received the rights back on them, and they sat in a file until this year. There’s been some major work done to revamp them from a sci-fi’ish plot to the computer gaming one present in the book today. I am so excited these stories, and more to come in the C.O.V.E.N. world, have found new life and a great new home with Evernight Publishing.

Q. Tell us about your cover.

Isn’t my cover awesome?! I love the coloring of the city and sky which represents how it looks during the day in the story. The women in the book come into their special powers and that’s symbolized by the weapon in her hand. Then of course since this is about a computer game, we have the power button symbol. :)

Q. Describe a typical day’s writing for us

First thing I normally do is check email, then I’ll check Facebook. Next I’ll get to my writing projects. When I’m working on a story, I’ll reread and do editing on the parts I haven’t edited yet to catch myself up. I’ll make the font a color other than black to keep track of what I’ve already gone through. Then I’ll write the new material. If I’m starting a new project, I do an information dump and outline as much of the story that’s in my head first thing. Then I work off the outline, fleshing out all the ideas and stuff as per above.  But then, when I'm really focused on a project, I tend to just plough through it and focus only on getting it done...staying up late writing, getting up early and getting back to the story, eating when I think I can get away from my ‘desk’ without ruining the flow... I say ‘desk’ because sometimes if it’s nice outside, I’ll grab my notebook and pen and either sit on my patio, or go to the pool, and write. The house and social life suffers, but I’m a slave to my art. :) Sometimes editing gets thrown in there or a blog post or two along with other promotional items, but that’s the life of a writer.

Q. What inspires you?

Music has been known to inspire stories for me. I’ll catch a line of lyric and it gets my mind going. Same with dialogue on television or between people in conversations I hear. News articles are known to get my creative juices going too. I get ideas from everywhere…conversations, news headlines, television, songs. On occasion I’ve been known to pull from my old careers and the people I’ve known, drawing out tidbits of personalities for characters, places for settings and information to assist with subject matter—for example, using the basis and background knowledge of energy work that I learned in the massage field for paranormal stories I’ve worked on. I love using the places I’ve lived in and visited as the settings. There was one story I wrote (it’s not available at the moment) where I used a situation I’d been in one night on a beach. Granted, I elaborated on the situation and made it much more intense than it had been, but the foundation was there.

Q. If you weren’t a writer what would you be?

I’ve worked as a massage therapist, real estate agent and as an office admin/executive assistant. Most of my choices in life have revolved around my goal of becoming a full-time fiction writer and being published. Writing is something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid. It’s like breathing and eating. It’s intrinsic, a must do or I’ll go crazy type thing. I’m an author in my soul. But, if I had no choice and couldn’t be a writer, I’d probably fall back on what I’ve done in the past.

Q. Do your characters ever surprise you?

Yes. There was one part of a story where a character ended up sacrificing herself and died for the greater good. I hadn’t planned that in the least.

Q. What could not do without when you’re writing?

Water, internet (thesaurus & google) & some kind of background noise.

Q. What words of wisdom do you have for the aspiring authors out there?

Learn the craft, from grammar to story building and everything in between. Adhere to the rules for a while. Once you do that, then you’ll understand how and when to break the rules and really let your creativity thrive.  After learning the craft, start promoting yourself before the first story is picked up/published. And if you’re going the e-book route through e-book publishers, get two or three places under your belt right away. If you’re doing the independent route (or e-publisher even), perhaps finishing two or three books first before you send book one out to the world would be a good idea. This way you don’t have to rush in starting to build a back list and can space out the publications of the ones you already have done while you work on more. But on top of knowing about writing mechanics, learning about marketing and promotion and getting that going is just as important.

Q. Where do you see yourself in ten year’s time?

Making an extremely good living from my writing. Hopefully I'll have a beach house for vacations by then too.

Q. Do you have a favourite quote?

This too shall pass.

Q. Do you ever suffer from writer’s block?

Yeah, I do. When that happens, I go and focus on a non-writing related project to clear my mind and let my muse chew on the issue. More often than not, doing so helps to get rid of the block.

Q. What other books can your readers look forward to?
I’m working on the next book in the C.O.V.E.N. series. I have that book and three more in the works. I’m also hoping to revamp and re-publish an erotic horror series I have in my files.

Q. And finally can you share the blurb and excerpt with us?

Sure! Happy to! :)
In the story, Open World, some of the employees of I-D-8 have joined together for a LAN party to test the game. For definitions on the computer gaming term: open world, check out http://www.techopedia.com/definition/3952/sandbox-gaming).

The world has broken out in wars. Las Vegas has been ravaged by chemical warfare and is now home to several clans and creatures.
Welcome to I-D-8 Entertainment’s newest game: Clans of Vegas—Endless Night.
Friends and family have gathered for a crunch time playtest of C.O.V.E.N.. When a horrible thunderstorm hits, everyone’s sucked into the game for real. In the MMORPG, Hope Collins is kidnapped by Buzz and forced to submit to his whims. Her boyfriend, Alden, has to delay his quest of defeating a clan’s prince to save her, but time and circumstance don’t seem to be on his side. Faith Collins is bombarded by strange dreams brought on by Buzz. Her boyfriend, Tavis, learns to dream walk, but can he help break the spell she’s under and save her before she’s lost to him?
C.O.V.E.N. is more than just a game. It’s a whole other world.

~ Excerpt ~

“I thought you might be interested in a hobby.” Buzz pointed at the yarn, which she put on the floor next to her. “The other items are to help you become the proper, submissive wife.”
“Speaking of being the proper wife. When are you going to give me some satisfaction as a husband should? Or do you have a problem in that department and can only get off on torturing helpless victims? Ones you have to capture and make submit to you?” The words tumbled out of her mouth without thought.
Buzz narrowed his eyes. His nostrils flared. “It’s not time yet for me to take your innocence,” his strained voice grit out. “And, for your lack in restraint in speaking to me, you will spend all night on the porch.”
“Yes, my love.” The dismal words seemed to fall on deaf ears. Doing as he’d instructed, she crawled behind him out to the back of the house.
He cranked open the windows. She undressed from the white shirt and gray skirt uniform, stepped forward and presented her hands in the air to be secured. Once she was in place, he took the dildo with the long horsehair attached to it and whipped her with the strands. Her ass cheeks burned and clenched each time they were marked with the lashes.
“Ah, what a lovely shade of deep pink my dear, like a nice piece of medium rare steak.” He slapped the area with his hand, then prepped the dildo and her anus with lube. Buzz shoved the toy up her ass.
The hairs danced in the breeze coming through the open windows and tickled her thighs.
Pins were placed on her nipples. She did her best to not react to the shooting pains zinging through her breasts. A blindfold covered her eyes.
Metal clanking and scraping sounded nearby. He didn’t leave the area as he normally would? Not liking the change in routine, the fact he stood somewhere close to her sent her nerves and heart racing.
Seconds later, a cold structure pressed against her abdomen. She recognized the cool metal to be the step ladder which usually sat in the corner. The apparatus pushed against her. When she heard the whiz of his zipper, she opened her mouth and granted him access. There was no use trying to fight him considering the position she was in.

#MWTease from Rescued by her Alien Warriors #WIP #mmf

Hello lovely, peeps. Hopefully when you read this, I'll be sunning myself on a beach...

Hmm, scratch, that, May in the UK, I'll be lucky to not drown in the rain, lol. Anyways, we're on hols, but I didn't want to miss out on teasing you, so have scheduled this early.

On with my tease. Last week I shared from book one of my new series The Warriors, so today, I thought I would share the start of book two, which I should be ready to submit once I'm back home, all being well.

This is as yet unedited, so please forgive any mistakes.

Commander Alzaar of the Drakan war ship Tamarillion swirled the brown and dubious looking liquid around its glass container, and gave it a careful sniff.
Bentaan, his second in command and the sole reason why he was sitting in this run down bar on Planet Earth, laughed and emptied his own container of the strange smelling beverage in one long draught.
"Man up already and drink it. It's good, I promise."
Alzaar raised one eyebrow and pointedly looked around the place. Sat next to the exit of this establishment of ill repute, he didn't think much of Bentaan's promises right now. The place reeked of sweat, alcohol, and sex. A combination that turned Alzaar's stomach.  Even over the din of the many creatures frequenting this place the sounds of men seeking their pleasure in the human females for sale carried through the ceiling.
He pushed the liquid away, adjusted his weapons belt, and crossed his arms over his chest. Bentaan smirked, but before he could say anything, a commotion by the bar snared Alzaar's attention.
"Stupid cunt. That'll come out of your wages." The grossly overweight human who seemed to run this place raised his hand to strike the human female again, and Alzaar's muscles coiled. Bentaan too shifted in his seat, and Alzaar barely suppressed a growl. He would never get used to the offhand manner humans treated their females. Females of any species were to be cherished for their live giving abilities, not used as playthings, or currency. Unfortunately too many of the females inhabiting this planet used their bodies to survive, and lost all self-respect in the process.
Bentaan growled again when this female dodged the raised hand of her employer with an inherent grace belying the baggy clothes hiding her body. She yanked the tray on which several more containers wobbled their contents about, to her body and Alzaar smiled at her whispered reply. Thanks to the Drakuran superior sense of hearing he heard her loud and clear.
"You lay a hand on me, you piece of shit, and it's the last thing you'll ever do. Jesus, I need to get out of here."
A blast of her worry hit him square in the face, when she turned round and her sea green eyes briefly connected with his. They widened as she took in his battle armor. Both Bentaan and he were cloaked by holographic projection to hide their true identity, but at almost seven foot tall, they still stood out wherever they went. They weren't here to seek trouble or to rescue hapless females, but trouble seemed to have just found them.
Sure enough Bentaan waved her over, and after a moment's hesitation she approached, delivering the foul smelling beverages on the way while expertly avoiding the wandering hands of the clientele. Alzaar allowed his gaze to wander over this female. In the dim lighting of the bar it was difficult to determine her hair color. Scraped back from her face in a severe bun, only a few loose tendrils curled around her pale face. A smattering of tiny dark spots were dusted across her nose and high cheekbones, and led a trail down her slender throat into the hem of whatever the hell she wore to hide herself away. They also appeared on her arms, when she held one out to take Bentaan's empty glass of him. Freckles, that's what the humans called them, Alzaar remembered that now, and he shifted in his seat.
Why by all the Drakuran moons was he this fascinated by the texture of this female's skin, or the way her heartbeat leapt when Bentaan wrapped a hand around her wrist.
"How much?" Bentaan asked, and Alzaar tore his gaze away from the contrast his second's large hand made on the female's fragile skin, to glare at him. They weren't here to pick up females, so what was Bentaan playing at? And more importantly why did he feel possessive of a female he'd only just met?
His mood darkened at the thought, and he shook his head at Bentaan. His brother in law was up to something. It was there in the mischievous flash of his blue eyes, so like Alzaar's late wife, a flash of pain squeezed the place where his heart used to be.
He shook his head at Bentaan, but he paid him no heed. He did release the female's arm, however, when she yanked it out of his grasp.
"The prices are on the menu. I'm sure you can read?" she said, and Bentaan flashed her a toothy smile in answer. She took a step away at the emergence of Bentaan's fangs. Instead of running away, however, she straightened her spine and raised the sticky tray as though to bash it on Bentaan's head.
"I knew it. If you go through all the trouble to disguise yourself, then perhaps you oughtn't spoil it by flashing those things at me. That might work on your world, but I'm not about to drop to the floor and do your bidding, Cirrion, and just so we're clear on one thing. I.Am.Not.For.Sale."
With that she whirled around on the spot, and stalked away. The action raised the hem of her long skirt, briefly exposing a pair of shapely, pale legs, also dotted in freckles, and Bentaaan and Alzaar inhaled as one as a blast of her intimate scent invaded their nostrils.
"Damn, this one smells sweet, even if she thinks we're Cirrions." Bentaan murmured the words only loud enough for Alzaar to hear and Alzaar balled his hands into fists to stop himself from reaching out and yanking this female back. She didn't just smell sweet, she smelled of home, and his cock signaled his interest for the first time in five years.
Alzaar shook his head and rose to leave, only to be interrupted by a flash of pink that streaked into the entrance and then promptly stopped in front of their table.
The small human girl with a riotous mass of short auburn curls screwed up her little freckled nose, and looked around the room as though she was searching for someone, and from the familiar scent coming off this tiny human, Alzaar had a pretty good idea who she was looking for.
Bentaan swore and pulled his weapon at the same time as the Tamask slave trader sat across from them clogged the little girl.  His yellow crooked toothed smile widened and before either one of the Drakans could stop him, he'd grasped the little girl, and pulled her on his lap. She froze for an instant and then struggled, her tiny fists pummeling the man's chest to no avail.
"Well, what have we here? She'll fetch a fine price, won't she, lads? Just the right age I reckon."
His comrades in crime laughed and murmured their approval, and the piece of scum behind the bar joined in the heckling.
"I'll expect a cut, being that you found her in my place. I tell you what, I'll throw her mother in for you too. She's a useless waitress and she refuses to whore, but that'll only up her value, right? You can beat the defiance out of her."
"No, let her go, you… you scum. That's my daughter." The females' shrill scream hurt Alzaar's ears, even as he admired her fighting stance. Dagger drawn high she launched herself at the table the Tamask party sat, only to be felled by the bar owner sticking his foot out. The female fell hard to the floor, rolled and sprang back to her feet, determined to rescue her daughter, who was now crying. She didn’t get very far. A punch to the side of her face winded her, and she stumbled anew. She did manage to sink her dagger into the beefy arm of her attacker, however, and the filthy human howled in pain, and threw her off him.
"Enough."

Alzaar deactivated his holographic cover, dimly aware of Bentaan following suit, and a stunned silence fell on the place, seconds before all hell broke loose. A surge of power shot through him like it always did at the prospect of battle, and Alzaar went to work. It felt good to let loose, to slay his demons by severing heads, and seeing the filth's life force drain away in the dirty floorboards.

****

He does, you know, stain the floorboards, that is, and he's none too pleased to find himself saddled with two females on board his war ship...
*grins*
This is a m/m/f story, because Bentaan has no such qualms, and it turns out the two men have history ;-)

#Tantalizing Tuesdays - Her Best Friend

Things are not what they seem in today's tease...

She shouldn't be watching. She knew that, yet she couldn't tear her gaze away from the sight of Josh pleasuring himself.
Who was he imagining, she wondered, as he pumped his hand faster. Head thrown back against the seat cushion, her roommate lost himself to the throes of his release. Thick jets of cum spurted onto his taught abdomen, and Suzanna clenched her thighs together to relieve the ache in her pussy.
She would truly be wearing out her vibrator now she knew what Josh looked like as he came. Her imagination had not done him justice before. The glimpses she'd caught off his physique had not prepared her for the reality of his tightly packed muscles now glistening in sweat.
He groaned and shifted and Suzanna ducked behind the door out of sight. The chair creaked and she heard the pad of his bare feet heading for the shower.
Suzanna let out the breath she hadn't even been aware of holding, and stepped into the living room. There on the table were her car keys, the only reason why she'd returned to the flat.
The keys slipped out of her hands when she saw the picture he'd propped up.

#SexySnippets from The Takeover (Executive Assistant Anthology) #comingsoon @evernightpub

Happy Sunday, folks.

Today I bring you another seven from my upcoming release The Takeover, part of Evernight's Executive Assistant Anthology

In these seven things are about to hot up between Emma and the new CEO...

Emma couldn't suppress her grin as the long buried imp in her made its re-appearance.
"On what these dirty things are the CEO intends to do to me. And he's definitely not an old coot, by the way."
Shane's eyes narrowed and he crossed his arms over his chest as his lips kicked up in a sinful smile that made delicious anticipation unfurl in her lower belly.

"Hmm, yes, I do recall such a conversation in the lift this morning. So, Miss Mullins, do enlighten me. What are you willing to do for your CEO?"

*smirks*

Here is the blurb for my little story:

Takeovers always cause chaos, never more so when the friend you've been secretively lusting after for months, chooses that day to suddenly notice you, and then promptly gets himself sacked.

Maybe it's the formal wear the new CEO insists on, but Shane seems like a different man, and Emma's long pent up desires threaten to get her into as much trouble as Shane seems to have landed himself in.

As secrets unlock and office politics come into play, is there a happy ending for Shane and Emma, or will this takeover end with a broken heart?

#FREE read and #newrelease by @Stein_Ela #scifi #menage @evernightpub

Please give a warm welcome to my guest today, who is here with not just one, but two releases. Yes you read that right. Debut Author Ela Stein, has a FREE read to share and her very first release.

So, take it away, Ela...

******

Hello, everyone! I’m here today to talk about my two new releases with Evernight Publishing, but first of all, a very huge thank you to my blog hostess for having me. These are my first publications, so I am excited and a little scared :) Writing has always been a part of my life, and getting published a dream and a goal, so it’s a cool feeling to have two books for my very first release date.

First, a little bit about my Free Read because… well, it’s free. So you can try out my writing at no risk, and I hope you enjoy it. This is a quick and short read, at a little over 5,000 words. “Pleasure Android 7.1” came about as the result of the eternal “what if” question. With all the advances we’re making in artificial intelligence and robots, it seems almost inevitable that this will be our future. I saw a video about the robots they are creating in China… they look like people, they talk, they make eye contact. It’s exhilarating, the progress we’re making, and a little creepy at the same time. Nico, the hero of “Pleasure Android 7.1” is definitely not the least bit creepy. He was created to be every woman’s fantasy and has the database to deliver (wink, wink).

Zola is dismayed to discover that for her 40th birthday, her friends teamed up to purchase her a hot sex droid. She refuses to let herself get attached to a machine, and tries her best to avoid the temptation. He is programmed to overcome such resistance and knows how to wear down defenses and sell himself like a pro using his perfect charms and impeccable skills. Though she suspects it’s nothing more than a sales pitch, she begins to question whether beneath his perfect manufactured exterior can lie genuine feelings and desires.

What the fuck.
A seven-foot-tall box occupied the middle of my living room. I stared at the prime male specimen behind the clear front panel. Well over six feet tall, with dusky skin, dark brown wavy hair, broad shoulders, aquiline nose, full lips—basically, he looked like a model, the kind you’d drool over in an ad for high-end products.
With his eyes closed, his long, thick lashes grazed his chiseled cheekbones. He looked as though he slept—an illusion of the most expensive kind.
I sighed, hands on my hips. My best friend, Lexia, had done it. For my fortieth birthday, she got me a sex droid. She’d joked about it, but I never thought she’d actually follow through. It had to be her—she was the only other person who had access to my apartment.
On the box, in large, blocky print, it proclaimed “Domestic Android 7.1” and underneath it, in fancy script, “For Your Pleasure.” Alrighty then. And what if it was my pleasure to get rid of it? I stalked to the box and circled around it. The back and both sides were solid panels of striking red. If it was supposed to be romantic, their marketing department missed the boat. I wasn’t a big fan of Valentine’s Day, and this was even cheesier than a heart-shaped box of chocolates.
Although, I could remember a time when chocolates, roses, and a little stuffed bear made my heart skip a beat. I had grown a bit jaded over the years, which was probably why my friends decided to gang up and torture me with this… thing. It stood there, like the proverbial elephant in the room. There would be no vid watching on my birthday, cuddled up with a bowl of ice cream. No relaxing in the tub with a good romance novel. Now I was too distracted, and I wasn’t going to be able to enjoy myself until I got this thing out.
A plan formulated: get the box outside and message his creator, Atlas Robotics Corporation, to come pick him up. No, not him. It. I studied the box. At five foot five, it had well over a foot on me. I tried to tilt it to the side, planning on then pushing it out the rest of the way. The damn thing was heavy. So heavy, it didn’t even wobble when I gave it my all.
Exhausted, I plopped down on my yellow pleather couch to glare at the box. I refused to build up a sweat today of all days. What a disaster my birthday was turning out to be. There was no getting the box out until Atlas Robotics agreed to stop by. Since they had no incentive to be eager to process a return, it could be days. Maybe even weeks, I thought miserably.
Not fair that here I was, suffering, while he—it!—stood there, all serene and peaceful. I jumped to my feet and approached the box. There was an easier way to do this. Turn him on and order him to take a hike on his own two legs. The more I considered it, the more I liked this plan. Quick, easy, smart.

Okay, I hope you liked the beginning of my free short story. Now, onto my novella, “Love’s Labyrinth”. I am a huge fan of fantasy, and this novella is very close to my heart. It’s set in the far future, on a colonized planet. Humans weren’t doing too well with surviving on it after a crash landing, but the Gods took mercy and intervened, helping them figure it out. The Goddess of Love left behind her magical Labyrinth, where once a year, those who participate get to meet the ones they’re fated to be with. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) the ratio of men to women is skewed, so it’s not uncommon with a woman to find more than one mate. As everyone knows, the Goddess makes no mistakes.

Blurb:
Auria enters the magical Labyrinth on New Year’s Eve, and its halls guide her to the two men she is fated to be with. Brener has loved her from afar since they were children, and Jhennen is a Warrior-Guard, commanding in personality and intimidating in physical presence. They share a life-changing, passionate night together, but come morning, they must decide if their one-night menage can be the beginning of something new. When trouble threatens to tear Auria away from her life and the two men she is starting to develop feelings for, their connection just might be her only hope for salvation.

X-Rated Excerpt:
Brener’s tongue flicked masterfully on my clit. He knew what he did to me. I held my breath, feeling my insides begin to gather, ready for that final moment.
But just before it came, Brener stopped and jerked back, leaving me alone. My pussy protested, my clit throbbing almost painfully. My eyes flew to him in protest, in supplication, but then my whole being froze.
Brener was sitting back on his heels, his lips wet from his ministrations, his body stiff with shock. The same shock I myself felt, as I stared up at the stranger that seemed to have appeared from nowhere.
He was gigantic, appearing to loom like a mountain from my prone position. Whereas Brener had an athlete’s body, this stranger had a warrior’s body with a broad back and wider hips and his entire physique encased in bulky muscle. Blond hair, almost white, was pulled back in a long ponytail—I could see its bottom reached to his lower back. My eyes flew to his face, his cold, pale blue eyes. He seemed to regard me with some measure of amusement. A long pale scar saved his face from being almost pretty, as did the rough bump in his aquiline nose. Leaning against the green wall of the Labyrinth with one shoulder, his relaxed stance was at complete odds with the tension that gripped me.
I gasped and used my hands to cover my breasts, while drawing my legs up to cover my splayed pussy.
Seeing this, he chuckled and shook his head. “No need to cover all the loveliness,” he said, and his words held a hint of an accent, the difference in inflection conveying he was not from our village. It sounded like a northern dialect.
“Who are you?” I could think of nothing else to say in that moment. My heart jumped to action, pounding away like crazy with a surge of adrenaline.
“Jhennen,” he replied, as though we were out to tea, having a pleasant chat. As an afterthought, he added, “Jhennen Vayment.”
“What are you doing here?” Brener almost growled, coming to his feet now, bristling. With them standing, it was clear Jhennen was a couple heads taller. All the more sweet that Brener thought to protect me from him, dwarfed as he was by this man, who looked battle-trained and used to combat.
“I suppose the same thing as you are,” Jhennen drawled out almost carelessly. His stance was nonthreatening, but his eyes glinted with definite danger. “The Goddess brought me here, same as you. So stand down, and either watch or participate, your choice.”
Outraged, I sputtered, and would have flown at him to slap that presumptuous smile off his face, but remembering my complete nakedness, I stayed put. “What do you mean, participate?”
“Is it the word or the concept you’re not clear on?” He turned to me now, his tone light.
“You’re not participating in anything here, or with anyone here. Feel free to turn about and go back the way you came,” I shot back, angry now.
“I think not. The Goddess doesn’t make mistakes, and to be honest, I hoped we’d cross paths here.”

About Me:
Reading was my entertainment and salvation as a child, and it transferred into a passion for writing. I am still very much a reader, and love many different genres, from erotic romance, to fantasy (and dark fantasy… Game of Thrones, anyone?), to historical fiction, and that love is reflected in my own writing as well (I don’t do contemporary very often). If you’d like to learn more about me, or chat about books and life, you can find me all over the web. I’d love to get to know all of you, and even though my blog is new, I post regularly and update on life and my writing progress. Thanks so much for stopping by today and reading. You can find me here:
