An Interview with Cupid from Arcanus Amator @ElyzabethVaLey #newrelease @evernightpub #ROTG

Oh, do I have a treat for you today. If you're wondering why there is no Friday Flash today... well, please forgive me, but I'm just not up to doing one this week. Normal service will resume next week, I promise. Instead I have Cupid on my blog. Oh yes, you heard right. The awesome Elyzabeth has interviewed him for us.

Let's see what the God of Love has to say, shall we?

****

Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to be here today with none other than the God of Love, Cupid!
*Cupid tilts his head in acknowledgment, his locks gleaming under the sunlight like sparks of gold beneath a river bed. He smiles at me from the other side of the garden table.*
Cupid: I am pleased to be here and thankful to you for retelling my child’s story. There are some valuable lessons in Arcanus Amator.
Elyzabeth: For instance?
Cupid: Not all that glitters is gold. There is light in darkness. We can be blind to that which lies in front of us.
*He bursts out laughing. His blue eyes twinkle.*
Cupid: I recommend readers pick up the book and discover them themselves.
Elyzabeth: Of course, but I would interview you if that’s all right.
Cupid: Certainly.
Elyzabeth: Can you tell us how it is to be in charge of the world’s most important emotion?
Cupid: It’s a very big responsibility, Elyzabeth. That’s why I have my children to help me.
Elyzabeth: Ah, yes, the Arcánús. They’re also your guard, no?
Cupid: Not my guards. They are the guardians of love. They’re the ones that help me bestow love upon others.
Elyzabeth: But they’re also deadly.
Cupid: If the need arises…
Elyzabeth: Like with Ariadna.
*Cupid frowns. He folds his hands over the table and stares into the distance for a few seconds.*
Cupid: Yes, as it happened the witch Ariadna proved to be a curse.
Elyzabeth: Figuratively and literally.
*Cupid says nothing. His long fingers wrap around his tall glass of water and he takes another sip of water. As he sets his glass down, he looks at me.*
Cupid: Yes. She cursed the Arcanus because she was blind to love.
Elyzabeth: Blind to love? Are you sure that it wasn’t simply that the Gods of love neglected her.
*Cupid leans forward. The friendly gleam in his eyes has vanished and is replaced by a silent power I can’t help but feel uneasy.*
Cupid: Love is there for everyone to grasp, Elyzabeth. However, sometimes we are blind to it. *He raises his hand to silence me.*
It can be because we’re too busy working or because we’re pursuing other interests. At times it can happen as quickly as lightening falls from the sky and at other times it can take years, but it is there. We neglect no one.
Elyzabeth: All right, all right. But Ariadne--
*Cupid laughs*
Cupid: Doomed herself and—
Elyzabeth: Arcánús Amator spell?
Cupid: Was a little something I concocted, but I do not have much more time to spare, Elyzabeth.
*I stand with Cupid as he pulls his chair back from the table.*
Know this, love, like life, is a complicated game, but it is better to have loved one night than to not love forever.
*Cupid places his hands over his heart as he speaks. I follow his gaze as he stares up at the bright blue sky. When I look at him again, he’s gone.*
Elyzabeth: Thank you, Cupid and thank you readers. I hope you enjoyed this brief, yet I think intense interview with the God of Love.

Arcanus Amator

As an Arcánús, one of Cupid’s blessed children, Amandus’s mission in life was to aid his father in bestowing love upon others.Unfortunately, when he found his own soul mate he was incapable of making her perceive their connection. Furthermore, she doomed their love forever. Amandus’s only hope is a spell concocted by Cupid: The Arcánús Amator: Spell of the Secret Lovers.

Hailey is desperate for love. She’s so desperate that when she finds a spell on the internet that promises to connect soul mates, she decides she must try it. Convincing her friend Hannah to help her, the girls embark on a one-night craze that will produce life-changing results and bring to life what was thought to be only a myth.

Excerpt:
She frowned. “What the hell’s happened?” She was quite sure this was not how the spell worked. Granted, she hadn’t exactly read the entire information sheet on the website.
“No one does,” she whined, bouncing on the balls of her feet while staring at the flickering flame of the candle. The thing was more than 20 pages long. It was like reading one of those software agreements. No one read the damn thing. She’d read the instructions and the first page with all the warnings and that was more than enough. Taking a deep breath, she managed to settle her nerves a little. Everyone thought she was the ditsy blonde obsessed with the occult, but she wasn’t. She was a hard worker, impatient when things didn’t go as expected. It was partially the reason why she’d filed through so many relationships. Why stay with a guy when he clearly had nothing to offer? Some of her friends argued that she didn’t give them a chance. She begged to differ. She’d given them a chance, they just hadn’t taken it.
True, her impatience sometimes got her into some trouble but it also saved her from a lot of it. That, however, wasn’t the case now. Annoyed that the spell had gone awry, she brushed back her bangs impatiently. Whatever had happened was not important. The priority was getting Hannah back home. Scanning the room for her discarded laptop, she did a double take.
Obstructing the exit to the living room stood the most gorgeous man she had laid eyes on. He was massive. His head almost brushed the top of the doorframe. His heavily muscled arms were crossed in front of him, his chest bare except for the intricate design of a red-inked tattoo that started around his left nipple and descended across his side to his hip. Low on his hips, he wore a long black skirt made out of what looked like leather.
Hailey hesitated a moment before finally glancing fully at his face. Her breath stilled as their eyes locked. A clear shade of violet, they were not from this world. Swallowing, she took a step backwards without breaking her stare. The stranger’s eyes glittered with curiosity and amusement.
“Careful with the center of the star,” he warned.
Hailey stumbled and froze. His voice was deep and commanding and had a familiar ring to it that sent her senses reeling. Shaking her head slightly, she continued moving away from him.
“Watch—”
Breath exploded from her lungs as she crashed into a shelf, a few ornaments she and Hannah kept, crashing to the floor.
“—out. Are you all right?”
Hailey winced, the back of the shelf digging into her skin, but she nodded anyway. The stranger flashed her a grin that made her knees weak. Hailey swallowed. The urge to see him smile again clawed at her insides like a desperate hunger.
Ignoring her, he glanced down at the pentagram, his silky dark curls framing his strong jaw and straight nose.
“You don’t look like you knew what you were getting into.”
Hailey held on to the bookcase behind her. She was afraid that if she moved the whole thing would topple over her head and she’d wake up, realizing that the man in the center of the room was nothing more than a dream.
“Read the first page of the instructions and didn’t bother to read the rest, huh?”
His eyes lifted to hers with a sassy smirk that lit up his violet eyes. Hailey stared speechless, the urge to touch the man making her palms itch as if she’d stepped into poison ivy.
“Yeah, you never did care what you got into, Ariadne.”
Goose bumps sprouted over her flesh and she released the shelf, rubbing her arms in an attempt to warm her suddenly chilled skin. Ariadne. The name rang in her ears like a long forgotten memory always running at the edge of her vision, just a breadth away from her grasp.
“I—”
No words came out as he carefully watched her face, almost as if saving every detail of her features into his memory. Her mouth felt parched, her tongue too large, as she searched for words that wouldn’t come.
 “Yes?”
Butterflies danced in the pit of her stomach and her chest tightened, making it difficult to breathe. Fear mingled with a strange sense of joy. Names, places, and moments in time danced in the edge of her vision, taunting her to remember them, taunting her to say them aloud but fleeing before she could take hold of them.
“My name isn’t…”
The man raised his dark eyebrows, the shadow of a smile lifting the edge of his full lips.
“I know.”
“Oh.”

#AuthorInterview @ElyzabethVaLey Bear Heart #nft @evernightpub #newrelease

Oh, do I have a treat for you today. Elyzabeth has been teasing me with snippets from this story with what seems like forever, lol, so now it's my turn to make her squirm a little.

*grins*

Are you ready, Elyzabeth?

Greetings everyone! *waves* I’m super happy to be here today and ready to spill the beans as they say! Bring it on, Ms. O’Connor! *grin*

Q. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

A, ….. A bit about myself...hummm… let’s see. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Elyzabeth M. VaLey and I’m an erotic romance author. I don’t stick with one label, I write anything and everything, dreams, love, adventures, steamy sex, now, in the past, in the future… As long as there is a love story to tell somewhere, I’m there.
Besides writing I like to take long walks with my black Lab, bake and sing off-key. *grin* I’d say I have an evil day job but I’m in the middle of a career change, so I’m not sure it’s entirely evil, yet.

Q. What made you write ‘this’ story?

A. …. Several things. In the first place, the continuity of the series. Bear Heart is book four of The Witches’ Mischief series and though I believe it can be read as a standalone it has recurring characters that as the series advances will be taking on a larger role. In the second place, my muse was nudging me to get my hand on another fairy tale and she wanted something paranormal. In the third place, once I discovered what fairy tale I’d be basing myself on (Bear Skin by the Grimm brothers), the hero, Simon, wouldn’t shut up. He needed to tell his story.

Q. Tell us about your cover.

A.….. It’s pretty, isn’t it? It was created by Sour Cherry Designs and they’ve done a wonderful job. It’s my favorite cover of the Witches’s Mischief series.

Q. Describe a typical day’s writing for us

A.….. A typical day’s writing? That exists? *laughs* I wish I had a fixed routine, but sadly right now I write whenever I can find the time, which is not often enough.

Q. What inspires you?

A. ….. I find inspiration in a lot of things, but usually music plays a great role in my stories. A song’s melody or its lyrics can paint scenes in my mind and a story can start from there.

Q. If you weren’t a writer what would you be?

A. …. A musician. I’d love to learn how to play an instrument and compose music. I’d make people feel with my music.

Q. Do your characters ever surprise you?

A. ….. Oh yes! The little minions are always concocting things. I’ll give you an example, when I started writing Bear Heart, Simon was called Bernard. Almost half way through the story he taps me on the shoulder and tells me that I’ve got his name all wrong. *shakes head* I had to go back and change everything. He was right though, he’s a Simon, definitely not a Bernard.

Q. What could not do without when you’re writing?

A. …..I usually write with music. It helps the words flow better.

Q. What words of wisdom do you have for the aspiring authors out there?

A. …..Keep writing and remember that writing is a subjective business. What one person hates can be what another person loves.

Q. Where do you see yourself in ten year’s time?

A. ….. Ten years’ time? Goodness, that’s really far away. I’m afraid I don’t think that far ahead. The ideal thing would be to be writing full time… but who knows. *shrug*

Q. Do you have a favourite quote?

A. ….. Not really, though there’s something author Persephone Jones told me a while back that I try to remember when I’m feeling frustrated: Excellence takes time!

Q. Do you ever suffer from writer’s block?

A. … Yes. Even though there are always stories to tell, occasionally the muse goes off on a mini-holiday and I can’t get the words into paper. It can be quite frustrating. Not writing for a few days, staying away from the computer, reading, watching TV, relaxing, usually helps get things back on track.

Q. What other books can your readers look forward to?

A. …. Arcánús Amator, is a paranormal romance that defies time. It is contracted by Evernight Publishing and is scheduled for release sometime in October.

Q. And finally can you share the blurb and excerpt with us?

…. Of course!

Excerpt:
He wandered through the woods. Head bowed down, nose close to the forest floor, scavenging for food. Then, he heard it. He froze. His heart skipped, then tightened in his chest before resuming its tempo at a speed that left him dizzy. Ears perked, he started ambling through the forest in the sound’s direction. He stopped. There it was again. Laughter. Loud, boisterous, so unladylike it warmed him from head to toe. He’d recognize that laughter anywhere, even if it had been more than a hundred years since he’d heard it.
Lifting his head, he sniffed the air. Rain washed dirt, blooming flowers, and people. His nose wrinkled slightly. He dropped his head. She was not among them. His heart slowed, beating like a sorrowful lament. She was not among them. How could she be? She was dead. He knew that. Yet—the sound of the woman’s laughter reached him again. A tingling sensation spread from his heart to his groin. Unable to resist, he headed in the direction of the sound, curious to see for himself the girl who had his late fiancées laughter but not her scent.  He knew he shouldn’t be coming this way. There was a home nearby. He recalled seeing it when he first came to live in this area and vowed to stay away from it, but Evelyn’s memory kept him moving.
Evelyn. Dear Evelyn. Deep down in his heart, he knew it could not be her. She was dead. Killed by his own selfishness and stupidity. Killed by his desire for revenge. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. How many times over the years had he cursed himself for his lack of foresight?  For his impulsive nature? He’d lost count. Evelyn was dead, and he was a bear during the day and a man after sunset.
He sighed. The loud sound resembled a growl and seemed to echo in the woods around him. Oblivious to his presence, the humans laughed and squealed, clearly enjoying themselves. Simon picked up his speed. Their scents wrapped around him as he got closer. Delicious. Enticing. Crashing through the thicket, he stopped, seeing them for the first time. Quickly, he hid, certain that if they saw him, they’d flee.
There were two women laughing and running about near the stream. How they could even move was beyond him for they wore long dresses tapered at their tiny waists and flowing full of ruffles to their ankles. They wore no hats, the offending garments discarded near a tree. He cocked his head, amused at the spectacle. Clearly, these were women enjoying themselves regardless of societal dictatorship. Their cheeks were glowing pink and healthy and water dripped from their hair.
The youngest girl looked to be 15 or 16.  She had long black hair and a mischievous attitude that reminded him of a playful cat. He focused his gaze on the other woman. His breath whooshed out of his lungs. She was beautiful. Strawberry blonde hair trailed down her back and freckles dusted her arms. She laughed as the younger woman splashed water on her. Simon’s heart constricted. That laughter. The woman looked nothing like his deceased Evelyn, but she had her laughter. It was a sound full of unabashed spirit. Unable to stop himself he moved a little closer. He craved to hear her speak. How much time had passed since he’d spoken to another human being? How much time had passed since he’d been with a woman? The redhead was deliciously curvy and her wet summer dress did little to hide the fact. He closed his eyes and let out a slow breath. Lust like he had not experienced in ages awakened inside of him and a bear-like sound burst from his lips.
Damn.

He stopped in his tracks and glanced at the women. They were no longer smiling. The smell of fear reached him. They hadn’t seen him yet or they would have run. He knew that. He’d lived it before. People always panicked at the sight of a bear. Besides, it was unlikely the women were alone. He scrambled backwards, eager to get away. There had to be others with them. Others that would hunt him and try to kill him. Strangely, the idea of dying at the hands of others did not appeal to him. At least not today.

“Wait.”

Thank you for having me, Doris! And thank you Readers for always being there. *hugs all around*

Thanks for coming and answering all my nosy questions!

Polyamorous relationships with @ElyzabethVaLey #NFT #giveaway The Three Thieves and The Dom @evernightpub

Oh, do I have a weekend treat for you! The story of the three little pigs was one of my favourite fairy tales when I was a little girl. So, naturally, I will have to check out this naughty version by the talented Elyzabeth M Valey.

She's here to tell us more about her story, and polyamorous relationships, and there's a Giveaway too!

Take it away, lovely lady :-)

****

Greetings, my friends. Today I’m thrilled to be here to speak to you about my latest release, The Three Thieves and The Dom, book 3 of The Witches’ Mischief Series.
As you might guess by the title, this book has BDSM elements. Conall Dougall, infamous rake and sexy hero, is a Dom. But, there’s more to the novel than kinky sex for Conall does not only love one woman, he loves three.
When the idea to write this story came to me, I was shocked. I have written stories in which the hero and heroines engaged in sexual intercourse with other characters, but this was very different. This was much more than sex. The relationship between Conall, Penelope, Isidora and Grace was a committed relationship, a lifetime partnership that involved much more than just sex.
I considered not writing it, changing the fairy tale, moving around the characters, but there was no way around it. These four belonged together and were begging to get their tale told. Well, I put on my research hat and set about to find everything I could about polyamorous relationships. There was no doubt that each relationship was different. In some there was a ‘primary partnership’, that is, the main couple around which the other members of the orbit. Other relationships rejected this idea outright. In some, not all the people were involved, in others, they were. It was madness, but as I researched three very important things stuck out and this became the basis to my character’s relationship:
1.      Needs
Again and again the word needs and how each person in the relationship fulfilled different necessities appeared. This was exactly how my characters felt. Each woman satisfies a different need in Conall and viceversa, as well as among themselves.
“There are things I can’t do for her.” Penelope’s eyes twinkled. “I can’t fulfill all of her needs. Lucas, Lord Blackemoor…” She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment. “It makes me happy to know that Grace’s needs are being looked after when I’m not with her. I’ve grown to know you, Isidora, and I think you will make her happy.”

2.      Its own shape
Like I mentioned above, there is no predefined form to a poly relationship. Each one works differently. What works for Conall and the girls does not mean it will work for another group of people.
3.      Communication
An essential component of any relationship, when there are more than 2 people involved it becomes vital. Unfortunately, my characters had trouble with this and thus their story was born…
[…] that was or had been the beauty of their relationship. They communicated and they strove to fulfill each other’s needs without keeping score. It wasn’t a competition. There was no jealousy among them. They were a unit. Up until the moment they left him, Conall thought he could trust and grow with them. He could no longer be sure. They had betrayed him.

The Three Thieves and The Dom
(The Witches' Mischief, 3)
Conall Dougal, infamous rake, wakes up one morning to find his most precious possessions have been stolen by the women he loves. Devastated, he goes in their search determined to find them and extract the truth from them in any way possible.
Penelope, Isidora, and Grace are on the run. They’ve committed a crime and left behind the man they love. Presumably safe, they are stunned when he turns up ready to claim them back and discover the truth.
But, what is the truth? And will Conall’s special kind of coaxing make them speak?

Excerpt:
“Do you remember our first time together, little angel?”
“Yes, Master Conall.”
“Were you frightened then?”
She shook her head. “No sir, I was excited.”
Conall leaned into her, brushing his lips against her neck and causing goose bumps to rise on her flesh. “I was too.” He breathed in deeply, as if committing her fragrance to memory. His tongue swirled around the outer shell of her ear and she arched her body into his.
“So responsive, always so responsive. I want to fuck you, Gracie. Hard and fast because I want to punish your pussy for leaving me bereft.”
Grace moaned. The loud sound echoed in her ears. Panicked, she pushed him, desperate to escape from the clutches he had on her heart and soul. With ease, Conall captured her hands in his, binding her with his strength. Grace panted.  Liquid coated her pussy as her gaze found his.
“You want it too,” he said. “Are you wet?”
Grace swallowed. She couldn’t lie to him, but she could choose not to answer.
Conall smirked. “I know you are, angel.” Slowly, he lowered her hands and pressed them against his groin. Instinctively, she curled her fingers around his hard length. Conall groaned. “You want this as bad as I do.”
“No. I can’t.” Grace forced her hands away from his erection. A growl-like sound burst through his lips, catching her off guard. Grace yelped as he pulled her hair, sharply drawing her head back.
“Cannot or will not?” His passion-filled gaze flitted over her face for an instant. “Never mind,” he snarled. His lips slammed against hers in a punishing kiss that took the air from her lungs. He kept his hand on her hair so that she couldn’t move, controlling their kiss. She could only comply to his sensual touch, and that was all she wanted to do. His kiss deepened, his tongue seeking out hers in hard, angry swipes full of longing and unspent desire. Grace moaned loudly, as with his other hand he found her breast and roughly massaged it through her clothes. Abruptly, he pulled back.
“Angel, little angel of my heart. Will you not tell me why you left?”
“No.”
Conall’s face transformed. His grin turned feral as his eyes narrowed, a fiendish spark in their depths.
“Then I will draw it out of you. I will kiss, lick, and make you scream out the truth.”
He punctuated each word by running his fingers across her chest and causing shiver after shiver to rack her form. Wetness slid between her thighs and her breasts ached for his touch. She had to get away from him. Unlike Isidora or Penelope, Grace knew that she was the weakest of them. She was like a house made of straw, one that could be thrown down by the wind in a jiffy. She could not allow it. She had promised Penelope to keep her secret, and she would.
Conall’s hand dipped lower, finding her nipple and pinching the hardened nub.
“Would you look at that? It’s already eager for my touch.”
Somehow, he managed to pull out her breast. Grace watched paralyzed as he leaned into her. His lips formed an O around the wrinkled flesh. His tongue swiped over it and her body arched automatically, her hands clutching onto his shoulder for support. His mouth closed hard over her nipple, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin, and she screamed. Conall’s hands grasped her bottom, drawing her into him as he fervently sucked on her breast.
“Do you feel it? My hard cock pressed against you? Waiting for your hot pussy to wrap around it like the glove you wear over your hand. My little angel, you always enjoyed serving me. Whatever I asked, you did without question and always with utter pleasure. Will you do so now?” He pulled out her other breast, twisting the nipple between thumb and forefinger.
“Master Conall, please.”
“Tell me, Grace.” He pinched harder. Tears gathered at the back of her eyes as pain collided with pleasure and the desire to tell him all.
“I cannot.”
“Yes, you can.”
She was unable to stop him as he hitched her skirts to her waist and found her wet folds.
“Oh God, Grace.” His voice broke, and for the first time ever she realized how affected he was by the situation.  “I want to fuck you, Grace. I want to stick my hard rod up your warm, wet pussy. I want to taste you, love. I want to hear you scream my name as you fall from heaven.” He pushed two fingers deep into her. Grace’s legs trembled.
“Tell me,” he urged, pumping them in and out of her.
“I cannot, I don’t—”
“Yes?” A third finger wound its way inside of her and she threw her head back, giving in to the rising pleasure.
They froze at the sound of a loud knock at the door.

Blind Beauty with @ElyzabethVaLey #NFT @evernightpub #mm

Oh, look, it's Monday again, and I have a very naughty Fairy Tale on my blog today. The lovely Elyzabeth M. Valey is here with a character interview.

Enjoy this peek into Blind Beauty.

*****

Thank you for having me!

Hello everyone! I’m here today with two guests that play an important part in Blind Beauty: Deidre and Mortimer Brandywine. I tried to reach the protagonists, James and Richard, but both men seem to be occupied at more pleasurable activities and have not answered my notes.

Fortunately, Morti, who’s Richard’s step-brother and his lovely wife have offered to answer some questions regarding the men.

Welcome and thank you for doing this Deidre and Morti.

“You’re welcome.”

You both know Richard, as he’s your step-brother, Morti, but, please tell us, how did you meet James?

M: We found him wandering near our home during a snowstorm. He was going around in circles with his horse. Deidre noticed him first.

Deirde nods enthusiastically.

D: “Yes, it was impossible not to notice. The lad was wearing a great coat but there was something about him… exotic. Don’t you think Morti?”

The couple shares a knowing glance and Deidre’s cheeks flush profusely.

Ahem, so I take it you invited him inside and then what happened?

M: “That’s kind of private.”

D: “We warmed him up.”

Deidre bursts out laughing and I raise my eyebrows in question. Morti clears his throat loudly and shifts in his seat.

Why was he lost in the forest? I ask, quickly changing topics.

M: “Ah, he was on his way to his new home. He’s bought a house in the outskirts of the forest. He,” Morti pauses. “He had trouble with his family back home.”

What sort of trouble?

M: “Well, it seems he was called some things--”

“They called him ugly!” Deidre jumps in, gesticulating wildly. “Can you imagine? James Macintosh ugly?”

He’s not?

The couple glare at me.

D: “Of course, not. He’s the sweetest looking thing you’ll ever set eyes on. His hair is spun gold, his eyes blue as a midsummer sky, his lips plump and sweet as honey, and he’s hard in all the right places.” Deidre chuckles and winks.

M: “He’s definitely something special,” Morti agrees. “He’s very enthusiastic.”

The glimpse of a smile appears on Morti’s face, and he seems distant for an instant, as if remembering something pleasant.

You’re happy that he’s with your brother?

M: “Happy? We’re very happy. We’re so excited for them. Even if society frowns upon that sort of thing in this day and age, everyone should be free to love whomever they please.”

Deidre nods. I notice her squeeze her husband’s hand.

So, tell me about your brother, Richard, what’s he like?

D: “Oh, Richard is such a looker,” Deidre sighs dreamily. Catching her husband’s disapproving glare, she straightens her posture and gives me a nervous smile. “Of course, Morti is the handsomer of the two, but Richard is quite the looker. He’s a carpenter, you know? So he’s spent a lot of time cutting down trees and carving them and making beautiful things out of them.”

How about his character?

Morti frowns. “Richard has a nose for trouble. Always has, and well, the things he and James have had to go through just goes to show. Richard wouldn’t have ended with those thieves if he—“

D: “Morti, don’t start with that again.”

M: “All right, all right. Richard is a good man, a very good man. If he sees someone in need he’ll go out of his way to help, but sometimes, precisely because of this, he can be a bit naïve and get into a load of trouble.”

D: “It’s true. That thing in the village—“ Deidre drops her gaze. “At least, everything got sorted.”

M: “Yes, yes, it did.” Morti smiled at Deidre. “Do you need anything else, Elyzabeth?”

“No, that’ll be all. Thank you Morti and Deidre.”

M: “Thank you. I hope everyone enjoys learning James and Richard’s story. They deserve happiness.”

Blurb:
James Macintosh is hours away from his new home. He is ready to start a secluded life away from all the rumors, insults and disgusted faces concerning his appearance. However, a meeting with a mysterious woman and her child, mingled with a sudden harsh snowstorm will set him down a very different path than the one he had originally envisioned.
Richard Randywine is an accidental fugitive living with a band of rowdy thieves. A good man at heart, he has gotten used to hiding his emotions behind his strapping muscles and brute strength.  Yet, when the thieves ambush an unsuspecting rider, Richard is forced to drop his mask and step forward.
Will both men be able to see what lies before them or will they be blind to the possibility of happiness?

Excerpt:

He climbed atop his horse, as told. His back molded to Richard’s, his body betraying him as it molded into the other man’s embrace. Richard pulled him hard against him, his body enveloping him in an almost suffocating hug.
“Go,” he whispered huskily into his ear, his breath fanning it. James pressed his thighs against Faith’s flanks, hoping the animal would understand, considering the strange position she was in. She did, for she set off at a trot in the direction Richard indicated. They galloped in silence, trees whirring past them, snow flying when they swept past. James eyes widened and he barely controlled the urge to order Faith to stop as he realized their impasse.
“Richard, the hoof prints, the snow.” James pointed at the visible trail. “They’ll track us down as easily as the king’s hounds trace a fox.”
Richard’s breath was warm in his ear. His hair tickled his temple and James had to suppress a shiver.
“I know.” Richard chuckled. “Don’t worry. I have a plan, besides wishing that they’ll wake up during the night and we’ll be miles away by then or that it snows heavily again.”
James wished he didn’t have to worry, but he couldn’t relax. The problem wasn’t so much the thieves that could pursue them at any moment, but the man behind him. He was too close, too comforting, and all too desirable. James shifted in his seat again, trying to find a comfortable position. One in which he wasn’t pressed up tightly against Richard’s groin. One in which he didn’t imagine he felt the length of his cock hard against him. Because, he was convinced it was his imagination. Otherwise, how could a man like Richard be interested in him? It didn’t make any sense. In his experience, men like Richard were ladies’ men. They seduced, fucked and discarded women. He wasn’t a woman and he’d been rejected too many times in his life. He didn’t need this. He didn’t need more pain. Richard’s fingers brushed against his side, the fingers digging into his flesh and distracting him as arousal flared in every centimeter of his flesh.
“What got you into thievery?” he asked, attempting to forget how close their bodies were.
Richard grunted in reply and he fell silent once more, fishing his mind for a topic of conversation. It came up blank. He thought about asking Richard to stop. Faith was probably tiring though she didn’t show it and surely, they were safe by now. He should ask. James knew he should, but he couldn’t. He was losing his mind, falling prey to the liquid fire that was consuming him inside and outside. He wasn’t sure if the man was hard, but he was. His cock was stiff and throbbing, the idea of taking or being taken by Richard flashing through his mind every time Faith bounced.
What would it feel like?
Flesh both silky and hard as steel brushing against him, an intimate caress, deep and longing. They’d become one man, writhing, gasping, and moaning. James’ breath hitched, the tightness in his breeches becoming uncomfortable. He clenched his teeth together and grasped the reins so tightly the material cut into his hands. He scrambled to regain his bearings, to remember whom he was with and what had occurred in the last 48 hours. He couldn’t trust Richard, but neither could he trust his treacherous body. He was not a beautiful man. Surely the thief didn’t want him. The thief. That’s right, Richard was a thief. He had no morals, no scruples, no—James groaned as Faith skipped over a fallen log, throwing Richard’s body against him, the erection he was sure he was imagining grinding against his bottom.

My story is called Taboo

What can be more Taboo than lusting after your father's sex-on-legs friend? Lust turns to love when Josh rescues Lucy from a scene going badly wrong. Oh yes, that'll be another taboo then, the whole need to submit thing. Is Lucy ready to deal with the very real life consequences of her actions?

Joshua is a Dom on a mission - to claim his best friend's daughter.

Here is a little hot excerpt from my story in this fab anthology - Enjoy!

The speed with which she followed his demand had to be seen to be believed, and Joshua smiled to himself. He might well regret this in the morning, and he might be signing the death warrant of his relationship with her father, but every fiber in his body called him to claim her, to mark her skin, and to sink his cock deep inside her wet cunt. Without being instructed to, little Lucy lay down on her front, stretched her arms above her head, and spread her legs wide, giving him a perfect view of how wet she was for him. The crotch of her bikini panties was soaked through with her arousal.
Wordlessly he approached the bed and a shiver went through her when he announced his intentions.
"I'm going to tie you to the bed, sweet pet. Then I'm going to use the knife to cut your panties off, and then I'm going to fuck you. Would you like that, pet?"
"God, yes."
Her pretty little plea made his balls draw tight and he shrugged out of his trousers and boxers to give his aching cock more room, and then picked up one of the floggers and the butt plug.
"God, yes, what?" he asked.
She froze and then thudded her forehead against the bed.
"Yes, please, Sir."
"Better, but we really have to work on this insolence of yours, don't we?"
"Yes, Sir."
Joshua swung the flogger with practiced ease and precision, so that the long strands hit her square across her ass with the ends streaking across her cunt, and Lucy yelped. Again and again he repeated the process, until she lifted her butt into the strokes, and he stopped.
Her moan of denial made him chuckle and he ran his fingers over the firm contours of her behind, and then proceeded to restrain her with the wrist and ankle cuffs attached to the bed. By the time he was done Lucy's panting breaths told him how close to release she was and he marveled at her responsiveness.  Eyes closed, she whimpered into the bedcovers, when he picked up the knife and pressed the flat of the blade against her cheek.
"Look at me, pet."
Instantly she complied, and he smiled his reassurance.
"What's your safe word, pet?"
She blinked twice as though she had trouble grasping his question, and just when he thought they'd have to use the traffic lights, she replied.
"Taboo, Sir."
It was his turn to blink, and she grinned at him.
"Taboo?" he asked.
"Yes, Sir. It seemed fitting, considering my fantasies all involved my Uncle Josh."
He shook his head in amusement, and thanked the universe he'd decided to come to the club tonight.
"Taboo it is, then."
Her eyes widened and that enticing little pulse point in her neck went into overdrive when he ran the tip of the knife across it.
"You like this, don't you, my sweet little Lucy. Such a naughty girl ... I wonder where else you might like to feel the blade." He trailed it lower, across her shoulder and diagonally across her back, digging in just enough to leave a trail of red marks without breaking the skin, and Lucy pulled on her restraints. He swatted her ass and she went still.
"Better. I don't want to cut this beautiful skin. Now, tell me, where else would you like the kiss of the knife? Here?" He cut the sides of her panties and they fell away, exposing her glistening cunt to his view. Joshua groaned.
"Such a pretty little pussy, all wet and swollen and pink. I wonder what that pussy of mine will do when I do this?"

He laid the flat of the knife across her slippery slit and Lucy gasped.

Hi Everyone!
I’m stoked to be here with Doris to tell you about my latest release A Dragon’s Heart, A Demon’s Blood, a paranormal- fantasy that takes place in three different worlds:
  1. Earth (to be precise they travel to Madrid, Stockholm and New York)
  2. The Demon Realm
  3. The Dragon Realm
I’m going to tell you a little about Madrid, the city where it all begins and the city where I live. To illustrate the places in the city which the characters visit, I went around and snapped a few pictures. Bear in mind that most of the action through these streets take place at night but I took the pics during the day so you could have a better look. Let’s begin:
Tribunal: Victoria catches a glimpse of Adrian for the first time at the Plaza de Tribunal.  The place is commonly used as a meeting spot since it’s so near to an assortment of pubs and bars.
They made their way back into Tribunal’s plaza. The square was still terribly busy at the late hour and he knew she’d feel safer where there were crowds. He held her hand, the personal gesture coming naturally.

The History Museum:  Adjacent to the plaza lays the Madrid history Museum. Surrounded by metal bars, Adrian waits for Victoria to make an appearance.
Victoria shuffled her feet anxiously. She felt him staring at her. The monster of a man leaning on the museum’s metal bars, in a nonchalant pose, as if waiting for someone or something, kept his eyes trained on her.
Fuencarral , Gran Vía and Montera: On the run, the couple races through the commercial street of Fuencarral, across Gran Vía, known as the Spanish Broadway, and finally down Montera.
Sighing, he turned into Fuencarral, a large street, neighboring the city center. A street, presumably a safe one, yet he knew differently.

Plaza del Carmen: Sometimes bustling and sometimes eerily quiet, this little plaza used to be home to a Goth club I frequented. Unfortunately, it has longed closed, along with a bunch of other business, making it an even quieter place at whatever time.
In their search for safety Adrian leads Victoria to the parking lot located in the plaza but… Is it really safe?
I wish it were different, little one. Flickering yellow light guided their way as they snuck deeper into the parking lot.

Why are they running and from whom? Now that’s something I’ll allow you to discover on your own. *Wink*

Blurb:
He is a shadow in the dark, smelling your scent and sensing your fear...

Legendary bounty hunter Adrian Ormonde is no ordinary man. His life is filled with secrets and questions, blood and lust. His only concern for 150 years has been survival and discovering the truth behind his demon-dragon nature.

Until he meets his new assignment: Victoria Green.

Victoria Green has felt eyes watching her every move ever since she can remember. Then, Adrian appears. The eyes vanish but new dangers arise as she falls for the mysterious hunter. Cast into an ancient conflict between dragons and demons, Victoria must trust Adrian’s skill to be enough to protect her from both the outside world and that which grows within her.

Chance brought them together but will love and passion be enough to keep them joined? Or will the other forces at play in the dragon-demon worlds destroy them forever?

Excerpt:
Glimpsing at the tent in his jeans, she gasped.
“Already?”
In an instant, he was upon her, his mouth devouring hers and making her legs weak.
“You make me lose control, sweetheart, and I’ll be damned if that hasn’t happened in years.”

His hands slid down her waist over her hip and onto her thigh. Her breath hitched as she searched Adrian’s dark eyes.
“Already, you ask?” He sneered, his calloused fingers rising higher and caressing the junction between her legs. His fingertips skimmed over her labia, finding her wet entrance. His grin became smug. Adrian’s nostrils flared and his eyes flashed red as he dipped two fingers inside her, wringing out a breath she’d not been aware of holding.
“You’re already wet for me, sweetheart.”
Bringing his lips down to her, he stole another short kiss that had her whimpering against him.
“Adrian.”
She hugged him, bringing him closer and searching for his warm touch again. His eyes scanned her face, his gaze softening.
“You don’t want this, sweetheart.”
“Yes, yes I do,” she replied pushing herself against his hand. His thumb brushed over her clit. Victoria tensed. Her orgasm hung from a cliff, ready to fall.
“I do want it.”
Tangling her fingers in his hair, she pulled him to her mouth, teasing the seams with her tongue. He groaned and she tasted him with longing.  Sucking on his tongue, she made love to it as he pleasured her with his fingers. Her body became a mass of over-sensitized sparks as he coordinated his thumb with his seesawing digits. His hand on her waist, held her in place as she humped against him.
“Come on, sweetheart.”
His husky baritone triggered her release. Victoria cried out, her pussy convulsing in short waves, hot liquid dripping onto Adrian’s fingers. Her towel fell to a heap on the floor as she lost control, the cool breeze doing little to soothe her heated skin. She wanted more. She wanted all of him.
Victoria moved to embrace him but he stepped away from her. Drawing his fingers into his mouth, he briefly closed his eyes emitting a barely audible sound of pleasure. When he opened them again, she gasped. Red sparks danced in his green depths.
“No, Victoria. You don’t want this.”
Shaking his head, he turned around and strode out of the room. Victoria stood rooted to the spot, watching in shock as he left the apartment, the main door slamming shut. Tears dampened her vision. Picking up the t-shirt he’d given her, she put it on. More tears trailed down her cheeks as the smell of detergent mingled with his scent. Taking a deep breath, she hastily brushed them away.
“Get a grip, Vicky.”
Wrapping the discarded towel around her wet hair, she strode to the kitchen, her stomach growling. She didn’t think she’d find anything edible in the small kitchen, but luckily Adrian kept a box of cereal and a few cartons of unopened milk.  Digging into the meal, she shivered slightly as an unsettling feeling grew in her chest. The watchful eyes were back.
