Happy New Year!
It seems it's blog hop central on this here naughty blog this week. Well, what better way to bring in the New Year than with some fabulous giveaways. If you're here for the New Year's Blog Hop, please scroll down to the next post, and then come right back here for more chances to win!!
When I saw this hop, well, I just had to join in. Those of you who've been with me for a while, will know by now that naughty is my middle name.
I did one of those Facebook quiz things over Christmas, you know the ones... This one was entitled, "How naughty are you?"
I got 97% naughty, which amused me no end. Mind you, I wouldn't be very good at my job if I wasn't naughty. Whilst I did not set out to become an Erotic writer, my muse had other ideas, and I am very comfortable with my erotic label now.
My teenage kids might disagree, of course lol, but then teens are embarrassed by anything mum does. I had an interesting conversation with my twenty two year old daughter over Christmas. She was back from Uni for a visit and whilst she doesn't hide the fact that her mum is an Erotic writer, she doesn't broadcast it either, and I know she hasn't read any of my books. I get that though, it would be a bit weird for her I guess.
Anyhow, she has my old lap top, and whilst I wiped the history I forget about my bookmarks....
Now some of her friends were looking for something on said laptop and brought up the bookmarks, and the convo went something like that.
"N, what's this on your computer?"
*cue hysterical laughter from my daughter's girl friends and a raised eyebrow from her friend*
"Has she not told you what her mother does?"
*more raised eyebrows and interest from friend*
"No, what does she do?"
"She writes naughty books."
*****
Apparently the fact that I do is cool, so my daughter was quite happy about this conversation. Well, it beats baking I guess, or crocheting. Not that there is anything wrong with either of those activities, but it did make me smile.
I rather like being thought of as a cool mum.
*grins*
But enough of my ramblings and onto the prices you can win on this hop.
We have two Grand prices:
1.) A $100 Gift Card to sexy fun online shop EdenFantasys
2.) An Erotic Digital Gift Basket – 10 New Releases from Hot Authors
In addition to these fab prices I will be giving away two PFD copies from my back list and one winner will receive a $10.00 Amazon Gift certificate.
You can check my back list out HERE. You will find all sorts there, as I have an unpredictable muse, but one thing I can guarantee. They are all naughty.
In fact, one of my New Year Resolutions is to simply keep writing naughty stories!
I leave you with a little teaser from my latest release, Wine&Nine.
Magic Mac and his Mystery tours, the brochure said. What it didn't tell the participants of this coach trip is that the quaint Scottish Inn they stopped at, held a secret.
When you add women, wine, and men the outcome is never certain. Will it be happy ever after or is this just the beginning?
Find out in these nine scorching erotic short stories, guaranteed to raise a kilt or two.
Excerpt
Smoke tickled her nose and rough fabric scratched her skin—her naked skin. What the hell? Darya's eyes flew open. She blinked rapidly in the smoky, gloomy atmosphere surrounding her and looked straight at a pair of hairy legs. The man had his back to her, his kilt riding up enough to expose muscular thighs as he bent forward to tend to the fire in the middle of the room. Talk about a titillating view. She bit back the completely inappropriate giggle threatening to erupt as she wondered whether he was wearing anything underneath the tartan cloth. Considering she was buck naked under these rough sheets, and she seemed to be stuck in a replica of a blackhouse—complete with a cow staring straight at her from behind the partition opposite—whether the stranger was wearing underwear was irrelevant really. She sat up slightly, wincing at the unfamiliar soreness everywhere, and froze.
The man in front of her had swung round and the light from the fire threw his ragged features into clear view. She was staring at the man from the picture. Clearly she had lost her marbles as well as her clothes. Her heart beat a little faster at the expression in Kincaid's eyes. He looked as though he wanted to devour her. Men never looked at her like this. Never.

Now, New Years. We're supposed to write a bit about New Years, and all I can come up with is that you know you're a writer, when New Year's Eve or not you're sat here typing away at the wip that came out of nowhere and you just can't stop writing.
Yeah, I am so rock'n'roll, lol. But for the last twenty one years we've had little ones underfoot, and staying home has just been the easiest thing to do. Our current youngest has an awful croupy cough and is laid up on daddy's chest as I type this blog post.
So, in this house at least we will do what we always do. Have a glass of bubbly at midnight, remember those no longer with us, and cheer in the new year with a badly rendered Auld Lang Syne.
Before I go let me pimp my newest release, and if you still have some energy after all your partying, check out, Wine & Nine. Quite aptly named for the party season...

Wine and Nine #releaseday #erotica #shortstories #kindle
Excuse me while I run around like a demented loon for a bit, because today is Release day of a special little anthology called Wine And Nine.
Magic Mac and his Mystical tours, the brochure said. What it didn't tell the participants of this coach trip is that the quaint Scottish Inn they stopped at held a secret.
When you add women, wine, and men the outcome is never certain. Will it be happy ever after or is this just the beginning?

This is a collaboration with my fantastic Critique Group The Nuthouse Scribblers. Whilst we have written together before and have several Anthologies under our belt, this is our first venture into self publishing, so yeah just let me do that again...
****
Ah, that's better!
The idea behind this was conceived around a kitchen table in Scotland when we got together for a meet up. Wine may or may not have been flowing, but there were nine of us and the rest is history.
Here is just a teeny lil snippet from my story, called, Darya.

You can buy our tale of Scotland, men in kilts, and the women, and men who love them on Amazon!
Go on treat yourself, you know you want to...
