Flash Fiction Friday - Peace #FFF

Happy Friday, folks. Here's your flash - enjoy!

Sara stared at the picture, her back resting against his chest, unable to tear her gaze away.
"Is this how you see us, Sir?  Truly?"
He didn't answer, just hugged her closer, and tears streaming down her face, she turned to bury her face in his broad chest. Peace flowed over her, just like it always did in his embrace. The perfect peace like the one captured in his image.
The freedom for her to just feel, to be cherished, to let all her worries fly away.
"You know I do, my love. I hold you in my hands, always."
