In  my little corner of the hop I'd like to share my Club Ink series with you - a series I never intended to write.The original idea was sparked by an Anthology call, Keyboards and Kink, and it was supposed to have been a simple D/S shorty. However, as is so often the case with me, my characters decided otherwise. My hero announced that he was the owner of a Shifter BDSM club, called Club Ink, interesting second characters popped up all over the place, and the series was born.

You're safe. You're not there. No one touches Ink's girl. You're safe.

She murmured the words to herself over and over, forcing her feet to move, one agonizingly slow step at the time. A woman's low drawn out moan of pleasure stopped her in her tracks, and she dared a glance towards the stage. The tiny Japanese girl hung expertly tied from the ceiling, her legs spread wide, her dripping wet cunt glistening in the stage lighting. Estelle reached across and squeezed her hand, and Cherie grabbed hold of the life-line. This close to the stage the smell of sex and sweat was overpowering. Her heightened shifter senses picked up everything even without the aid of her eyes, which she kept firmly on the floor. Unwilling arousal trickled down her spine with the beads of sweat, and she jumped when Nathan's large hand gently but firmly uncurled the death grip she still had on Estelle's hand. She murmured an apology at the raised welts her death grip had caused on the other woman's skin and flinched when one of the ropes used on stage narrowly missed her face.

Grisha was next to her in an instant, throwing the length of rope back onto the stage with a muttered curse. Despite the fear gnawing a hole in her gut Cherie had to smile.

"He'll fucking kill me if any of that stuff touches you. Do us both a favor and scoot your chair back a bit, sweetheart."

He flashed a worried looking smile her way, and Cherie grabbed hold of the arm rests when he simply picked her up chair and all and moved her several feet backward. Nathan did the same to Estelle's, and Cherie had to suppress a laugh at her murmured, "Men, any excuse to show off their muscles."

Grisha resumed his silent vigil behind Cherie, and she did her best to try to enjoy the spectacle in front of her, all too aware of Grisha's gaze burning a hole in her back and Ink's sheer strength of will pinning her to the chair. By the time the performance was over and the girls after-care had been properly taken care of, she was a quivering mass of pure need. She couldn't even remember the last time she had been this turned on without anyone actually touching her, and if the various couplings going on around her were anything to go by, the rest of the audience were just as affected. She could hear him grind his teeth, and he balled his hands into white knuckled fists as Nathan roared his release and Estelle panted her own orgasm at Nathan's gruff permission. He pulled Estelle on his lap, and the tender kiss they shared had Cherie's eyes fill with fresh tears. Grisha swore softly and not for the first time Cherie wondered whether the forbidding Russian didn't have more than just a soft spot for Nathan's wife.

She scented Ink seconds before his large hand caressed her shoulder.

"You did so very well, baby girl. I'm very proud of you. Now let's get you out of here, before my brother re-arranges that Russian's face."

He released her shoulder and held his hand out, a silent question in the amber depths of his eyes. Cherie put her hand in his, ignoring the frantic beating of her heart. She could do this; she had to. The flash of triumph in his eyes raised her anxiety levels to alarming levels, and he pulled her up to a stand with a small smile. His nostrils flared, and heat rose in Cherie's cheeks when he trailed a finger over her breasts. He swirled it around the hardening peaks of her nipples, over her tummy, and down the side of her hips. He pulled her skirt up and trailed a path of heat up her inner thighs. She spread her legs automatically to give him better access, and his smile deepened at her gasp, when he reached her sodden knickers. Have I got you intrigued? Cherie and Ink have quite a back story, which proved rather challenging to me as a writer, but Ink wouldn't let me rest until I did. It was also great fun to write and I'm looking forward to delving back into Club Ink with Grisha's story. He has been growling at me ever since book 1, so I reckon he'll soon have me chained to the keyboard again.
