We all love a little indulgence in our lives. And I firmly believe it is important to take some time out of our busy lives and indulge a little in what takes our fancy. Or even indulge a lot.
Those that know me will know that my one big indulgence is chocolate, and coffee, and a loooooong soak in the bath at the weekend with a good book. Actually, coffee and chocolate is more of an everyday necessity, rather than an indulgence. I can't function without at least two cups of coffee first thing, and if it wasn't for chocolate... well ... I have nine kids, two dogs, two cats, four gerbils, and one hubby to take care of.
My waistline may not agree, but chocolate keeps me sane. Well, you know what they say...
Chocolate is better than sex. Not sure I agree with that one, but it sure makes me smile and stops me from killing the kids at the end of one those days. And whilst hubby can make me smile much more, he isn't always around and between the teens and the one year old ... well, you get the idea I'm sure.
*grins*
Another thing that I love is losing myself in a good book. I'm a huge reader, always have been, always will be, and I love it when an author takes me on a journey and lets me forget about everyday life for a while. As a writer, I thrive to write the very best story I can and take my readers on such a journey.
For the purposes of the hop I am going to concentrate on my Giovanni Clan series.
