Release Day! #characterinterview and #contest for The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin @evernightpub

It's here, it's here!!

*jumps around like a demented loon*

I'm beyond excited that The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin is out in the big wide world now, and to celebrate that fact, I have decided to send my good friend Raven McAllan into the Billionaire's lair a.k.a. Lakota's Hampshire country house.
Here's what she found….

******
Now, this is the life. When Doris said I had to go and interview Lakota … well, how could I say no? I'm curious to see if he really is as much of a hunk as I imagine him to be, and I can't wait to meet Alice in person.
Ever the gentleman Lakota has sent his limo, and let me tell you, the driver isn't bad to look at either. I won't need my kindle for this journey that's for sure. I'll just drool. I wonder what his story might be, not that I will find it out on this trip, because he has just been giving me polite, monosyllabic answers since he picked me up from Heathrow. Sheesh he winked. He winked at me. I best stop drinking the fizz on board here, but it's just so yummy.
Oh, we're slowing down … here are the gates, and that long, long drive. The gravel crunches under my feet, as I exit the limo.
"Thank you, driver." I murmur the words, taking in the forbidding mansion rising up in front of me. It wouldn't look out of place in a horror movie with its grey imposing brick work, but it also reeks of understated elegance and extreme wealth. Surrounded by cultured gardens, and sculpted trees, it's so quiet here, the birdsong seems too loud.
"My pleasure. Enjoy your stay ma'am." Lakota's driver pulls my attention back to him and his smile makes my toes curl. Oh, yes, definitely a story there and I make a mental note to ask Doris about it. "Percy will show you the swimming pool."
Sure enough. Percy Nevin, a small wiry looking man with a kind face, and the head of Lakota's legal team, descends the hundreds of steps leading down from the mansion and extends his hand to me. I tell you with those steps you won't need a gym…
"I hope you had a pleasant trip here, Raven. Mr. and Mrs. Kemnay are waiting for you."
I shake his hand and follow his rapidly departing back up the stairs and into the cool interior of the mansion. He glances back just once to make sure I am still following him, and I get just a glimpse of marble flooring, a huge curved stairway, and walls adorned by original Artwork, before I have to hurry after him. I'm sure I spotted a Picasso, and it wasn't a print!
Determined to not let my surroundings distract me, I follow Percy out into the courtyard and smile to myself when I see the fountain. It was right here that Alice and Lakota first meet, and it does look as though you have been transported to Italy.
We exit the courtyard through a door on the opposite side, and we're in a charming airy room, that seems to act as some sort of library. Damned if I wouldn't like time to check out the titles. You can learn a lot about people from their books.
Percy stops at the next door, and gestures me through.
"Right through there. What refreshment can I have brought to you?"
I forget to answer, because I have just spotted Lakota getting out of the swimming pool. His jet black hair hangs loose around his proud face. The angular lines and high cheekbones speak of his heritage as clearly as the natural tan of his skin and the intricate tribal tattoo tracing one of his biceps. And what a pair of biceps they are. I am staring openmouthed at six foot something solid muscle, and the tight swimming shorts he wears leave nothing to the imagination. Alice is one lucky woman, I tell you.
At Percy's amused chuckle behind me I remember to shut my mouth and hope to hell I'm not drooling.
Lakota's dark eyed gaze connects with mine and I forget to breathe altogether. Oh my, no wonder Alice fell hook, line and sinker. The man is gorgeous and oozes power and self-assured confidence with that bad boy aura that makes me wish I was at least twenty years younger.
Belatedly I remember Percy's question, and I tear my eyes away from the poetry in motion that is Lakota's behind as he turns round to whisper something into Alice's ear.
"Err, I'm fine, thank you."
Percy gives a little bow and smiles.
"As you wish. They're ready for you now."
Sure enough Lakota has sat down on one of the sun loungers, next to a smiling Alice, and they are both looking towards me. Somehow I get my feet to move, and I will the heat in my cheeks to subside. But sun loungers remind of that scene I 'redited' when they're on their honeymoon and … err … yes … you'll have to read the book, folks, but Lakota is inventive. I need a fan.
"So nice of you two to meet me. I know how busy you are, Lakota."
He smiles and inclines his head and grasps hold of Alice's hand.
"Never too busy for a friend of Doris," she says. "So, ask away. I take it you've come armed with questions?"
I nod and launch myself straight into them. No point in hanging about after all.
"Alice, I know I'm going for the jugular here, but were you surprised that someone was prepared to pay for your virginity? Didn't it freak you out? And did you have your mace spray with you?"
Alice laughs and Lakota glowers at me. I smile sweetly at him, even though my insides are knocking together.
"Well Lakota, you told me to be blunt, so I am."
"Lakota, stop glaring at the poor woman. I don't mind answering her question." Alice intervenes and I give her a grateful smile. I can see what Lakota sees in her. She radiates an inner strength and natural poise that no amount of money or artifice could ever emulate. Still, the devil sitting on my shoulder urges me to add. "So maybe you should ponder on this. Why in today's world should someone have to do so such a thing?"
Lakota growls, yes really he does. Doris's editor is forever telling her off for her growling heroes, but he really does growl, and it is the sexiest sound ever. Alice's smile has turned thoughtful and I notice Lakota's grip on her hand increases, as though he is sending her some sort of silent signal. I bite my lip. Goodness, I have so much respect for the two of them and it sounds as if I'm dissing them. I'm not. I really want to know.
"Well, yes and yes. I didn't have any mace spray though." Alice replies after a long enough pause for me to get uncomfortable. "I figured it would be pretty useless. After all I came here of my own free will. As to why," she smiles at me and there is a shimmer of tears in her eyes that makes me feel like a complete heel. "It was my last ditch attempt to find the money for Beth's cancer treatment. We'd run up a mountain of debt since she was diagnosed, and the treatment she needed was not available on the NHS."
Shit, now I feel like something on the bottom of my shoe. I'm going to blame Doris, she told me to ask what I really want to know.
Lakota says something under his breath in his mother tongue that sounds suspiciously like a string of swear words, and Alice leans across and kisses him. It's a mere brush of lips on the scar marring one side of his jaw but it's enough to make me feel like a voyeur. The chemistry between them sizzles, and I guess I can see why she didn't need that mace spray.
"Beth is your niece, right?"
"Beth is an adorable little girl, who needed help. I was only too glad to use my money for such a worth wile cause." Lakota answers before Alice can. "Even if Alice had backed out of our agreement I still would have paid for her niece's treatment."
"And I wouldn't have let you, you know that, Lakota."
He mumbles something about stubborn women under his breath, and Alice giggles. His mood lightens and he too smiles.
"However, it wasn’t my idea, this auction. My friend Sara signed me up and she even photo shopped my picture to make me look far more alluring, shall we say—"
"And my brother fell for it." Lakota interrupts again and I roll my eyes. "Still, if he hadn't acquired Alice for me, I never would have met the love of my life."
Okay, I'll forgive him for interrupting constantly. He's so well ott with her it's great.
"I needed a wife, you see, and I guess Zeb thought this would force my hand. He was always spending my money. At least this time round he spent it wisely. I took one look at Alice and I knew I wanted her."
The tone in which he says that sends shivers down my spine.
"As you can see, Raven, Lakota is a hard man to resist, and to be honest, once I saw him, I didn't try very hard to resist." Alice winks at me and I have to hide my grin. Oh yeah, I know exactly what she means.
"And once I got to know the real Lakota, well, I could never leave him after that."
I melt a little inside.
"Okay, let me say I love your story, and am so happy for you all. Right let's get on. Alice when did you realize what sort of wedding you were having, and what did you think?"
Alice sits up straighter and claps her hands.
"Oh, I had no idea, and I'm not giving the game away, but it was such a lovely surprise, and it meant the world to me. I was so glad that Lakota chose to incorporate his traditions in our ceremony."
Lakota shrugs his shoulders and I could swear there is faint blush staining his high cheekbones.
"Did you understand the significance of it?" I had to ask Alice that, it was something I really wanted to know.
"Oh, yes I did. I studied Native American history at Uni, before I had to drop out to support the family financially after daddy's heart attack, so I knew exactly what it meant. It gave me such hope for our marriage, and it meant so much to me that Lakota would do that."
I glance at Lakota and I have to ask. "Lakota why was it important to you?"
"I was reminded before the wedding that I should be proud of my heritage, and I knew it's what my mother would have wanted. I'd pretty much made up my mind that I was going to hang onto Alice, arrangement be damned, and this was my roundabout way of showing her. I wanted to make her happy." Awww. I want one like him.
He frames Alice's face in his hands and kisses her, just like that, and yeah I melt a little again. I have to clear my throat several times before they realize that I am still here.
"Alice, what three things do you think you need in a partner? Is it the same things that are needed in a marriage?"
Alice ponders this for a minute.
"Honesty, loyalty, and love. And yes I think they are needed in a marriage. I knew Lakota was honest and loyal, but I didn't know if he would ever love me, and I couldn’t have stayed with him otherwise, no matter how much I loved him. It caused quite a bit of trouble in our marriage, because I simply couldn't believe that he would truly want me."
It's Lakota's turn to roll his eyes, and Alice shrugs.
"We were both rather silly about admitting our feelings to each other."
"But we got there in the end." Lakota says and Alice nods.
"Lakota what three things surprised you most about Alice?"
He gives as self-depreciating smile.
"Only three? Alice has surprised me at every turn. She just didn't fit with any of my pre-conceived ideas about women. She still never does what I expect her to do. It's one of the things I love most about her. She is my little Alice."
Alice thumps him, and he laughs.
"And yeah, she hates it when I call her that."
"Right, so I have to ask... was it hard to let Doris know about all those intimate moments?" Lakota bursts out laughing at this, and Alice turns bright red, as I go on. "How do you show her how to show us?" Hell, I reckon I'm the same color as Alice.
"I simply told her what to write." He smirks at me. "She had some interesting dreams, let's leave it at that."
The B never told me that.
"Now I'm going to be sneaky… What would you do better if you could?"
He surprises me by growing thoughtful.
"I would have told Alice how much I love her long before I finally did. If you mean the sex," he chuckles, "you'll have to ask my wife. I don't think she has any complaints."
"So Alice, how about you give us your views on those questions...?"
She turns an even more interesting shade of beetroot and shakes her head.
"Oh, no. I want to be able to sit down tomorrow." The mischievous twinkle in her eyes tells me that the thought of any punishment doesn't worry her unduly. I decide to take pity on her and change tactics.
"Now a few quick fire questions. Feel free to both answer." I smile at Lakota. "Well, I don't expect you to name your favorite color of lipstick, unless you mean on Alice."
He grins back at me and they both answer in unison.
"Don't wear any."
"Jeans or chinos?"
"Both, though I prefer Alice in nothing." Lakota grins again and Alice rolls her eyes.
"White or red wine?"
"We both prefer champagne," Alice answers this time.
"Sun or snow?" I ask.
"Oh, sun, our honeymoon was just perfect." Alice gets that faraway look in her eyes and Lakota grins.
"Ebook or paperback... NO don't answer that in case you upset me and Doris...."
They both laugh.
"Sex on the balcony or sex on the bed."
Alice looks at Lakota and he gives her the most sinful smile I have ever seen on a man.
"Sex anywhere with Alice just blows my mind."
I get the impression it's time for me to make myself scarce.
"Okay, one last question before Lakota throws me out. What's next?"
"Now, we can’t possibly tell you that. It would give the book away, and Doris would kill us, and besides Alice has a sister, who may need her story telling yet."
So there you have it, my interview with Alice and Lakota. I shan't bore you with the details of how I got back home to Scotland, but you know that driver ….
And no I'm not telling but he has a most interesting way of…

****
Hmmm, I will have to try and wriggle the full story out of Raven. Denying cuddles with her grandson should so the trick.
*evil grin*
Let me know in the comments what you think I should do, to get Raven to talk, and you could win an e-book of your choice from my back list and the chance to name my next hero and heroine.
Be inventive ;-)
I leave you all with the blurb and the excerpt to drool over.

Blurb:
Lay back and think of England, she could do this. It was only sex, after all. Auctioning off her virginity was the easy part—going through with it not so easy.  When Alice realizes who has acquired her, keeping her emotions out of the deal seems an impossible task.

Self-made billionaire Lakota, Lance Kemnay has no time for women, let alone one, who would sell her virginity to the highest bidder. Ever practical, however, he sees in Alice a solution to his immediate need for a wife. The emotions she stirs in him are just lust, and lust can be dealt with. As they connect emotionally and physically, his resolve to keep his heart aloof is tested beyond limits.

Can he trust his tender feelings, or has he been taken for a fool by the one woman he thought he could trust?

Be Warned: BDSM, spanking, rimming, anal sex, wax play, erotic asphyxiation

Excerpt:
He'd bound her to him with the ridiculous terms of their arrangement, and he had no idea how she really felt about him. That her body desired him, of that there was no doubt. Could there ever be more between them? Was the trust she exhibited in her submission to him enough to build a relationship on?
Would she want to stay with him once the arranged time was over? His little Alice was a romantic. Would she settle for a life with what little he had to offer, knowing full well that he was incapable of ever saying the words every woman wanted to hear?
"Lakota?" Her uncertain whisper shook him out his maudlin thoughts. This was here, and this was now. He would live in the moment and worry about all that later. Right now he had his woman where he wanted her.
"I'm here, my sweet. Relax."
She drew in a breath and another, in a visible effort to calm her nerves, and he bent down and kissed her again.
"Remember those candles you admired on that stall in Colombo, my sweet?"
She stilled completely and her breaths grew choppier, and he smiled.
"I see that you do… Now, feel their kiss, and fly for me."
He'd gone hard as nails in the middle of the crowded market at her innocent reaction to his whispered comment that these were far more than scented candles. He'd bought them on impulse, waiting for the right moment to introduce them. He knew her well enough by now to know how far he could push her, and he wanted to give her the pleasure this play brought.
She flinched at the first drop of wax hit her just below the collarbone, and he swiped the drop away, watching her closely for her reaction. Again and again he repeated the process, until she arched into the touch of the wax on her skin.
He drew patterns around her breasts, leaving the wax to settle, and letting the flame burn a little hotter each time. Her breathing changed to the slow, deep state of relaxed awareness he wanted her to be in as he scribed what was in his heart on her quivering tummy.
By the time he was done his dick was just about ready to explode, and Alice was so wet, the covers were stained under her ass. He smiled to himself at the face of housekeeping in the morning and poured one last heavy drop of wax over her hugely distended clit at the same time as he thrust his cock into the tight clasp of her body, with a growled, "Come for me, baby."
****
Alice came so hard and so fast she could barely catch her breath. The sensation of the hot wax dripping over her most sensitive flesh coupled with the feel of him sliding deep into her core, his weight pinning her in place proved too much.
She was dimly aware of Lakota reaching his own pinnacle in record time, and then she was free. Released from her bonds and held securely in his arms, she blinked to get her eyes to focus.
Her body was covered in multi-colored patters of wax, and he'd traced a word into her lower abdomen—Mine.
Alice bit back her tears, and Lakota's hands settled over her fingers tracing the word. She looked at him, and she held her breath at the emotion she glimpsed in his eyes, before he masked it.
"I will run you a bath, and you can soak it off. I'm not going near that beautiful skin of yours with a knife."
"Do we have to take it off?"
He grew very still at her husky question, and his voice was hoarse when he finally answered.
"I don't want you getting sore. This is your first time. We don't know how your skin will react."
Alice smiled at the protectiveness and concern behind those words.
"I seem to be having a lot of firsts around you, Mr. Kemnay."
