Flash Fiction Friday - The Wrong Choice? #FFF

Happy Friday, folks. Enjoy today's flash :-)

"Yes, finally!"
Stella's enthusiasm made him grin. She tried to tug James along, but he hung back under the awning of the shop front, and settled for watching his little water nymph skip about in the wet stuff falling from the sky.
Arms outstretched she twirled like a child and his gut tightened. Was he doing the right thing by keeping her here with him?
"Come on, join me."

She kicked her shoes off, dropped a kiss on his lips, and walked off with a smile that meant he'd follow her anywhere. Even if it meant a certain, painful death.

  4. You usually never fail to impress me with your skillful use of so few words. I saw every moment, every movement. I identified with her youthful freedom to be playfully provocative in the rain. And the hook, ah, the hook, Doris......so skillfully planted. Reel me in, baby! I'm yours! I loved the flash :) xo
