Now to finish off the great week, I have the super duper Raven McAllan here, who by all accounts had a pretty good week too. Well, she met up with me after all..
*grins*
Take it away, Raven
****
It's been one of those
weeks.
One of those Chair Swivel
Jiggle YEE HAA sort of weeks.
Not only did I meet up
with Doris and my grandson, but I sort of had two books out.
Almost do I hear you say?
How come almost?
Well, are you sitting
comfortably? Then I'll begin. (Anyone else old enough to know where that phrase
comes from? First correct answer wins an eBook from my back list.)
*jumps up and down*
Oh, it's my blog - duh. Can't enter.
*grumbles*
Well, come one folks, you know don't you? Leave Raven a comment.
Anyway, I digress. I'm
good at that. And procrastinating.
So, on Wednesday P.A.
Partner was released by Evernight Publishing. I was driving to meet Doris, so I
had no net, and when we met up… My phone was smugly saying no service no
service.
Doris' phone was in a
better mood and she gave me the great news. The book was up on Amazon with a five star review. That was fantastic to
hear. So not only was I able to catch up with her and her family, I had a book
out, and a great review. We had a brilliant catch up and I picked her brains
over a print book back cover blurb. (Miss Simpkins' School for Seduction Vol.
1, due out in August.)
I followed the fantastic
day up by visiting my son at Kirkwood Farm Holidays near Lockerbie where he
works. It's a great farm estate with holiday cottages. I got to feed the orphan
lambs… He, typical male, always thinking of his stomach, asked me not to forget
to buy the mint sauce! I covered my lamb—Pixie's—ears. Nasty man.
It meant of course, still
no net. He only gets to phone me when he's in a field or around the main
cottage area. I was lucky enough to sample the new 5* holiday farmhouse, which
has its own area of heaven, and I wasn't going to get the net turned on just
for me. To be honest, in one way the lack of net, TV, and people worked so
well. I got a lot of editing done, but I missed not being able to chat with you
all.
So after an amazing Thai
meal, lamb cuddling, feeding and quad bike riding, plus a fantastic night's
sleep in a top-notch farmhouse, I get home to discover P.A. Partner had a
lovely shiny Are star and is an
Amazon best seller. Mega chair swivel
jiggle.
Just in case you think "ohhh
now then, I like the sound of that", I'll put the blurb and links at the
end of this ramble.
To end such a great week,
book one of Diomhair, Secrets Shared came out on general release.
You can imagine how
excited I am with all this going on…
Can I pimp please? I
didn't take Budda chocolate. Oh okay I did take Edinburgh Rock (400% sugar) but
hey he was on holiday…
So let's brag a bit…
P.A. Partner…
Martin has had the hots for his boss for as long as
he can remember, so when Byron declares he needs a date to keep his mother off
his back, of course Martin jumps at the chance.
He has one condition—he wants a night of unbridled
sex with his boss. From P.A. to partner, can they make it last, or is this
strictly a one time only offer?
A
wee tease…
"Well,
Boss?" Martin waggled his ears and crossed his eyes, two tricks Byron
envied. Combined with a cock—coated with pre cum—that stood up proudly out of
its nest of hair, and the faint sheen of perspiration that covered his body, it
could have been silly, but it wasn't. It was climax inducing, erotic thoughts
and needs.
"Oh,
very well." Byron walked slowly across the carpeted floor to the
edge of the bed, and opened the cupboard placed along side of it.
He
took out condoms and lube and handed them to Martin before climbing on to the
mattress to kneel at Martin’s feet.
Carefully,
Byron lifted Martin's legs, so Martin's heels rested on Byron's shoulders, and
his ass was a few inches off the sheets. The perfect position to fill him. Then
he took the condom packet and slid the latex sheath out of it.
"Next
time I'm going to ask you to put this on me. This time I want to come in you,
not on you, so I daren't. Will you hand fuck yourself, Mart? Show me what you
like while I get ready to cock fuck you?"
Martin's
eyes blazed, and he licked his lips.
Fuck,
that's sexy.
"My
pleasure."

Bookstrand)
and a wee hint about
Secrets Shared…
Diomhair.
Secret.
What's happens there stays there.
It
doesn't matter whether you want to learn or teach, be in control or controlled,
Diomhair could be the place for you.
The
ruined castle deep in the Scottish countryside had been rebuilt into an
exclusive, private, BDSM club, where people could learn about and enjoy the lifestyle.
Not
everyone approved, and not everyone appreciated it, but for those who did and
fit the criteria, it was somewhere to go and be themselves, relax and play.
And
if you found love there, your own perfect match, well that could only be a
bonus.
For
isn't the secret to true love the biggest secret of all?
And to tease you…
They
say never share a secret. Sometimes though, it’s the only thing to do.
Jess
is looking forward to her night out clubbing with her best friend, but her
anticipation turns to dismay when she realises the venue is a BDSM club not the
disco she’d envisioned. After a disastrous experience with the lifestyle in her
past, she’s adamant she wants nothing to do with it now.
David
agreed to pick up his friend’s sister as a favour, and is surprised to find
himself instantly attracted to the fiery Jess. The experienced Dom recognises
Jess’ bluster for what it is—fear. There is no doubt in his mind that Jess is
submissive, but getting her to accept that fact will take some doing.
David
is determined to help her, but it is up to Jess to accept. When Jess does give
in to her secret desires, can she truly let go and be the sub David is looking
for, or will she hold onto her secrets?
At Diomhair you never know what will happen in the end.

ReplyDeleteListen with Mother, well that's a blast from the past :)
I was sitting comfortably to read the teasers for your books , oh yes , want more of those!
Irene
oh Irene no contest you win... Check my books on www.ravenmcallan.com and tell Doris which one you'd like and thank you :)
ReplyDeleteOY but where does the phrase come from? My guess is from story telling around the fire :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Raven on both. I already got my copy of Secrets Shared.
ReplyDeleteLovely , thank you :) It was hard to choose just one from the list , but I finally whittled my choices down to 'Teaching the Teacher'. Must admit I had fun reading all the blurbs and bits on your site.
ReplyDeleteDo I need to email in my choice if having Teaching the Teacher is ok , or is just putting it down here enough?
Thanks
Irene
I have another ebook ot two to give away at random on wednesday night BUT the answer *hint* is in Irene's answer lol
ReplyDeleteYou guys are too posh for me LOL I can't see it, even though I've moved to my laptop. Listen to Mother? Is that the clue? or the answer? *feels the barbarian*
ReplyDeletePerhaps it helps that I am an elderly (ish) Englishwoman and I have used that phrase all my life :)
ReplyDeleteLeona you did well. Irene and I obviously both gre up listening to the radio. It was said at the start of EVERY childrens Listen With Mother 15 minute radio show at, I think 2pm? every weekday. It was supposed to give mum's a chance to relax for a while. Evidently I just ssked questions all the time, so it didn't work...
