The monthly office party was always fun. Even more
so when you're the only sober one. Being on medication that didn't mix with
alcohol lost some of its sting as I watched my co-workers make fools of
themselves. Mary from accounts grabbed hold of Steven from IT. We all knew
she'd lusted after him for months, but Steven was very much married, and by the
comical look on his face, as he tried to extricate himself from Mary's
clutches, happily so.
I laughed out loud when Mary missed his mouth and
latched onto his chin instead.
Poor guy looked terrified.
