One night in Bangkok #newrelease @GaleStanley #mm @evernightpub

I just love the title of this book, and as for the cover... yum. Makes we want to go to Bangkok. I've never been, but it's definitely on my bucket list.

The lovely Gale Stanley is here to tell us more about her new release.

The temperature in Thailand is a humid ninety degrees but things are about to get a lot hotter. David Elliot is in Bangkok on business, but when he meets Kai, the younger man turns his world upside down. It was never meant to be anything more than a pleasant diversion but David can't walk away when it’s over.

Excerpt

The door closed behind them, and suddenly David felt a little shy. He stared at Kai for an awkward moment, wanting to touch and be touched, but not quite believing they were finally alone. Or maybe he was just used to Bernie taking the lead.

Kai waited silently. He really was hotter than any man had a right to be, with those almond-shaped eyes and pouty lips just begging to be kissed. David’s gaze slid south and settled on the full, hard cock straining against the thin material of Kai’s pants. God, he wanted to hold Kai’s prick in his hand, breathe in the scent, taste the drops of precum leaking from the tip….

When he looked up, he saw Kai still watching him. The heat in those brown eyes turned his insides to mush. Desire overcame shyness, and David edged closer. Kai met him halfway and David let out a moan as he captured Kai’s mouth, teasing him with his tongue. Two arms snaked around David’s waist, and their swollen cocks rubbed as they kissed. Hot spikes of sensation flared at David’s groin, and he pulled Kai tighter against his body.

When they broke for a breath, Kai was flushed and panting. Without a word, he slipped from David’s grasp and went to his knees. His slim fingers gripped the waistband of David’s slacks and tugged until they puddled at David’s feet. Eyes so wide and dark they appeared black looked up at him. Then Kai pressed his mouth to the silky fabric covering David’s erection.

“Oh, fuck.” David threaded his fingers in Kai’s thick black hair.

When Kai sucked on the tip of David’s cock, David swore he could feel the wet heat through his boxers. His thoughts scattered and he swallowed hard in anticipation. “Kai, please.” He tightened his grip on Kai’s hair and pulled gently.

Kai stood, and they undressed each other like they had that day at the temple. David smoothed a palm over Kai’s chest, muscles tensed and quivered under his touch. The goal had been to get inside this man who tempted him beyond reason, but now he didn’t know if he’d last that long.

Dmitri turned over, glancing down the line of their bodies. Rory’s erection was very obvious in his kilt, almost comically so. The other man must have been contorting himself to keep it off his ass. Of course, now that he was face up, his own erection started filling out nicely.
Rory started massaging his shoulders and arms, going nowhere near his nipples or other erogenous zones. Finally, he couldn’t stand it anymore. “Um, you’re hard.”
“I know,” Rory said evenly. “Don’t worry about it.”
“Kind of difficult to do that when it’s right over my stomach. Besides, so am I.”
Rory gave a half shrug. “Totally normal. Lots of guys get an erection during a massage. Don’t worry, it’s not like I’m going to make a move on you or anything.”
He didn’t understand why that admission annoyed him, but it did. “Of course not,” he muttered. “Why would you?”
Rory stopped at that, frowning. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I don’t know.” He turned his head, staring at the bulkhead. “Never mind.”
“Hey.” Long fingers cupped his chin, urging it back. “I’m not making a move on you because I don’t believe in hitting on someone when they don’t have a way out of the situation. I mean, yes, I think you’re incredibly hot, which should be obvious by the fact that my cock can now cut diamond.” Rory glanced down at his crotch and grinned. “But that’s my problem, not yours.”
That’s what you think. Dmitri could feel Rory’s body heat moving through him, lighting up nerve endings. He’d been sure that his life would be one long, slow slog through museum workshops, getting older and more bitter with each passing year until he was shunted off to some sterile senior station to die.
Instead, he had been kidnapped during a heist by the Known Worlds’ sexiest antiquities thief, rescued from CAPOD by said thief, been given the chance to restore a shattered Saolao ceremonial bowl, and now had the same sexy thief kneeling over him with a rock-hard erection after giving him the best massage of his life. Except he’s backing off like I’m a nervous virgin.
It was time to take matters into his own hands, quite literally. He cupped his palms over Rory’s exposed knees, feeling the other man twitch from the unexpected contact. “What if I said yes?”
Rory frowned. “I’m sorry?”
“What.” Dmitri slowly ran his fingertips under the tartan, up Rory’s thighs. “If I.” He pressed the heels of his hands against the soft prickle of hair and the lean muscle underneath, continuing his upward slide. “Said yes?” His fingers reached the top of each thigh, dancing over the crease where leg met groin. The skin was smooth there, but he could just feel the beginnings of crisp pubic hair brushing his thumbs, and the heat from what had to be an aching cock.
He wouldn’t let himself touch it. Not until he was sure they both wanted this. “Or do I have to spell it out for you?”
“Nooo, I think I’m catching on.” Eyes gleaming, Rory leaned over and kissed him. “Is this all right?” he whispered, each word the softest puff of breath against Dmitri’s lips.
“Definitely.”
“Good. Because if you don’t put your hand around my cock in the next thirty seconds, my head is going to explode.”
Dmitri couldn’t help chuckling. “Well, we can’t have that, can we?”

Nicola Cameron is an expatriate Chicagoan who has lived in England, Canada, Holland, and Sweden, and keeps a confusing amalgamation of languages in her head as a result. Currently located in the clavicle of Texas, she has finally mastered the proper use of "y'all," much to her Chicago family's dismay.

Despite a healthy interest in sex since puberty, it wasn't until 2012 that Nicola decided to try writing about it. As it turned out, the skills she picked up during her SF writing career transferred rather nicely to erotic romance. When not writing, she wrangles cats, smooches her husband, makes dolls of dubious and questionable identity, and thanks almighty Cthulhu that she doesn’t have to work for a major telecommunications company any more (because there’s BDSM, and then there’s just plain torture...).

Athol is here with a #giveaway. A Dom's Decision #mm #newrelease @RavenMcAllan #bdsm @evernightpub

As the title says. Athol is here! I've been on #TeamAthol ever since we first him in Master, and I'm terribly excited to have the man himself on my blog today. Not only that, he comes with gifts. Read on to find out more about his story, and how you could win an e-book.

So without further ado, I give you Athol from A Dom's Decision. Have at it, Sir.

*****

So Doris very kindly offered Raven a chance to let me loose on her blog. I'm not sure if she's brave or foolhardy. I mean evidently I'm not known for my tact.
howls of laughter .
I'm sure I've no idea why people think that. I'm a pussy cat. Okay maybe not. But just because I don't suffer fools gladly there's no reason to say I can be untactful.
And maybe one of the reason I don't suffer fools is because I was one.
Oh yeah was I ever. And for far too long. The awful thing about it all is, I almost threw away the one thing that means more to me in this world than anything. Edan's love.

Now then, that doesn't mean he wants me, or my love for him does it? After all considering all the crap that's flying around, why should he? But there again, Edan is special and can rise above stuff like that. So…

A Dom's Decision is our story. Okay it's subtitled Athol's Story, but really it about both of us. But as ever there are lots of things you never find out. Edan and I decided to let you know a little bit about ourselves. But we did it a wee bit different. He's telling you five things about me you might not know and I'm dishing the dirt on him snigger
Great fun.

So Athol on Edan…

He loves Anchovies shudder I make him wash his mouth out after he's eaten them.
Edan was his Primary School shove ha'penny champion.
He can write with a pencil between his toes.
He speaks Esperanto. I know, I mean does anyone else speak that these days?
He has a mole somewhere very interesting…
Oh and one for free. He's the love of my life.

Okay enough now. This is Edan dishing the deets on Athol.
He can't sing in tune. Seriously never go to a karaoke with him, because he so doesn't accept that he sounds like a frog.
He can't grow a beard. It grows in patchy.
Athol loves the smell of tar. We even spent one afternoon just watching some guys tar the road so he could sniff it. I'm sure they thought we were stalkers or something.
His temper was legendary at uni. Talk about flash point central. But it was always short lived. Well until we both spat the dummy out.
He's the most funny, generous person I know.

So here's the blurb for our story.

When is a Dom not a Dom? When it stops him from being with the man he loves…
Athol Donaldson lost many people in his life, his lover, his family, his twin. The latter loss seems hardly worth morning over. Affric caused nothing but trouble when alive, and now, he seems intent on causing trouble from beyond the grave.
It forces Athol to seek out the one man he's never forgotten.
Eden Murdoch has no intention of letting Athol slip through his fingers again. He's lost him once, and as they're forced to pull together to unravel the mystery surrounding the parentage of a teenage girl, their love for each other blossoms.
Surely, being Doms doesn't mean they can't compromise? Will they be able to work out their differences, and find lasting happiness, or will this blast from the past prove to be their final undoing?
And a wee tease…
Edan swallowed as his throat closed up at the sight of Athol playing with his prick. He coughed and Athol looked up and grinned at him. An expression of wicked, evil, and dare you showed in Athol's eyes.
"See? A few hours in your company and Sir Richard is stirring."
"Sir Richard would stir if a gay sparrow twittered at him," Edan said as he put two glasses and a bottle of South African red wine on the coffee table. "Shiraz?"
"Please. And for your information, not a gay sparrow, sweetie. At least a gay cock. Get your bird correct, now."
Edan laughed. Athol had always been able to poke fun at himself. "Bird or bloke?" Edan asked Athol as he twisted the closure off the bottle and poured two glasses.
"Him, her, who knows, and cheers." Athol took a glass and clinked it to Edan's.
"Her?" Edan was dismayed at the dull throb of pain that hit him.
"Now did I say that?' Athol put his glass on the table and stood up until his face touched Edan's. The sweet scent of wine and Athol swirled around Edan, and his own cock perked up.
Athol leaned forward and his tongue stroked across Edan's lips. Edan sighed and opened them, ready to welcome the thrust of Athol's tongue. It didn't happen. With only a couple of gentle touches, Athol pulled back and stared at Edan.
"Well, we could, but who gets first dibs on the fuck fest, and who puts up and shuts up like a good little sub?" Athol's expression was contemplative, almost sad, and Edan sighed again.
"Yeah, we're probably the most unforgiving, most incompatible people, most unlikely couple on the planet, and yet we, well I anyway, want nothing more than to screw you senseless. Why the fuck can't we switch with each other?" Try as he might Edan couldn't inject a positive note into his tone.
"Now Einstein, if we knew how to answer that and sort it, you'd've not disappeared down south to do whatever, and I'd've not spent the last however many years trying to prove I didn't need you." Athol shrugged his shoulders. The movement made every muscle in his torso ripple.
 Argh, pre-cum inducing heat.
"True enough. And it was lecturing in Hong Kong, not disappearing down south." Edan took in Athol's shocked expression. "Didn't you know?"
Athol shook his head. "Nah, I'd got you at some obscure ex-poly in the Midlands. Guess I screwed that line of investigation up good and proper."
Edan sat down on the settee and pulled Athol to sit next to him. "I hid my tracks well, like an animal going away to lick his wounds. What else did you screw," he paused, "up?"
Athol grinned, some of his usual upbeat mood showing. "Up, down, or like a rabbit? Ah, Ede, not much to be honest. Of any shape, form or sex."
Bastard. He always had known how to get Edan riled up. It was no wonder they could never come to terms over who did what to whom, how and when.
****
Interested?
You know we first met Athol in Master?

Anna ignored him. It was up to Linsey to sort all that out. She stalked around her desk and glared at him, as he stood unmoving next to her chair.
"Excuse me." She waited until he took a step back and opened a drawer. Anna handed a sheaf of papers and a pen to him and moved away. "Use my desk," she said. "I won't need it any longer." She looked at Linsey, who gave a faint shrug, as if to say there wasn't anything she could do. Anna didn't believe that for one minute. "Where's Athol?" she asked, as she realized there was nothing else she could say or do to dissuade Caden from his chosen plan. "He's late."
"I'm here, sweet thing." Athol walked across the room and enveloped her in his usual effusive bear hug. "I had to sort out some dickhead who thought I would turn a trick for a tenner. Cheapskate. I told him not for a thousand, I have my standards." He roared with laughter, a deep belly laugh so at odds with his persona. "Oh and who's this?" He looked Cade up and down.

He loves stirring it.
(I do not, it comes to me naturally.)
So, if you fancy learning more about Athol re The Dom's Decision, or indeed about Dommisimma, here's your chance.

I have an ecopy of either Master, or The Girl on the Bus to give away. But because (according to my kids when they were little) I'm cruel and heartless, I'm going to ask you to answer a question. Well two questions actually.
What country is Dommisimma set in?
What do you like about the cover of A Dom's Decision (Athol's Story)
Ready…Steady…Go…
Giggle
Happy Reading,
Love  R x

This Isn’t Goodbye

Romance on the Go

BLURB

Stay-at-home dad Taylor MacLean chose his life knowing he could rely on the trust fund from his rich grandmother. He didn’t have to work a day in his life. He preferred to take care of his baby daughter Janine and, when he was not busy changing diapers, he would get down to his art studio.

After finishing college, Jamie Selkirk followed his dream to be a photographer. Now working for a famous fashion magazine, Jamie spent more and more of his time away from Taylor and Janine, his husband and daughter. Can the couple learn to put each other first before their marriage begins to crumble?

EXCERPT

Taylor went still for a moment before he let Jamie go. Jamie's body turned rigid a moment ago, a tell-tale sign every time his boy almost said something important. It disappointed him when Jamie only said that he needed an aspirin. Really, Jamie, an aspirin? Taylor had put a full bottle on the glass table in the living room next to the couch where they both slept last night.
"Go ahead. It's on the table," Taylor said in dismissal. "You would've seen it if you hadn't been so busy wanting to throw up."
Taylor turned around abruptly. He combed his hair back. He’d acted mean and thoughtless. He caught a pained reflection in Jamie's eyes. Taylor wanted to leave the room, this very second.
"Taylor?" Incomprehension and hurt chased one after another in Jamie's voice, and Taylor couldn't take it anymore.
"I heard something. I think Janine’s woken up."
"Janine." Jamie's trembling voice stopped him in his tracks. "I haven't seen her since ... since I don’t remember when."
Yeah, Taylor knew it must’ve been too long since Jamie saw their daughter. He'd stormed out of the house right after breakfast yesterday morning.
"Don't you miss her, Jamie? Or is your job and are all those parties still too important for you? More important than your own daughter?" It crossed Taylor's mind that she was Jamie's and not his, but he figured it would be mean of him to say that. They’d both agreed to use a surrogate, and they were married. It meant whatever belonged to Jamie belonged to him, too.
"I want to see her," Jamie said, his voice so thin Taylor thought he was imagining it.
"She's okay," he said. "I checked her earlier. She slept through the night while I was down here." He stopped at once. Jamie didn't know Taylor slept with him on the couch.
But nothing escaped that pretty head.
"Down here? Were you with me?" Jamie’s face flushed and Taylor wanted to grab him right there.
"Uhh, yeah."
"Taylor."
"I just missed you."
Jamie sniffled, but he stayed still. Taylor balled his fists.
"Aw, what the hell." He lunged forward at Jamie right at the same time as Jamie moved toward him. They met halfway, grasped each other's face, and mashed their lips together.
“Wait a minute.” Jamie pulled back, gasping.
“What? Jamie?”
“I have to tell you something.”
“No, you don’t. I missed you. You’re all I want.”
“I need to tell you I’m sorry. I’m sorry I neglected Janine and you. I won’t do that again, ever.”
Taylor cupped Jamie’s face. “You don’t need to apologize.”
“Yes, I do.”
“Then I’m sorry, too.”
“What for?”
“I ignored what my husband needed.”
Jamie smiled. “So do you forgive me?”
Taylor swept him off his feet and grazed his lips lightly against Jamie’s.
“I already have.”
Taylor kissed deeper and drank in everything he could. He couldn't remember the last time he’d kissed Jamie. All the models in the world and their neighbors could want him, but Jamie belonged to him.

Spotlight on Fire Dreams by Tamsin Baker #newrelease #mm

The lovely Tamsin has been a busy bee lately and she's back today with her latest M/M novella. So heat up your Saturday and settle back and enjoy.

Fire Dreams
By Tamsin Baker

m/m contemporary erotic romance. (novella length)

Blurb:
Dylan is living his dream, fighting fires and saving lives. Bruised ribs call for a doctor visit and he meets Zach. The sexy ER surgeon tempts Dylan, with more than the casual one night stands he usually indulges in.  However Zach's life means long hours and pressure. He's left wondering if he can cope.

Zach meets the gorgeous young Dylan, who is the answer to his silent prayers. The hardworking Firey is beautiful, smart and funny. What more could he ask for?

But these two shift-workers have no relationship experience. Will their lives get in the way of their new love or could their incredible passion conquer all?

Excerpt:
Dylan smiled up at Zach, whose wavy brown hair had been combed and gelled today. His chin was smooth from a recent shave and he wore beautiful casual clothes. Designer jeans and a fitted white cotton shirt. Yum. He barely resembled the dishevelled doctor from yesterday, yet that same confident aura was there about him.
“You fix up everyone at the station do you?”
He’d never seen Zach around before, but then he’d only been with this crew for twelve months.
Both Les and Zach chuckled. “Yeah, sometimes.” Zach agreed, his eyes darkening slightly the longer he stared at Dylan. “Wanna come with me so I can check out your ribs again? Can we use the first aid room this time?”
The captain slapped Zach on the back and nodded. “Yeah, go for it. I’ll be in my office if anyone wants me.”
“Shall we?” Zach smiled at him, looking as innocent as ever. Dylan stifled the laugh as he gingerly rose and headed off in the direction of the first aid room.
They entered the small room and Dylan turned, coming nose to nose with his doctor, who was breathing a little too fast.
“How do you want me?” Dylan asked, lifting his chin a fraction to meet Zach’s eyes. He was six foot two without shoes on. This guy would have to be six foot four.
Zach clenched his teeth, his mouth turning down in displeasure or annoyance, Dylan wasn’t sure.
“Sit down and I’ll check your lungs, your blood pressure and your ribs. Then we’re done.”
Dylan wasn’t sure he liked the sound of that. He didn’t want to be done with this guy so soon.
Zach picked up the stethoscope with business-like air. Dylan’s belly cramped with disappointment, but he pulled off his T-shirt and sat down, allowing Zach to examine him.
And examine him he did. Cold, professional fingers tapped on his ribs and palpated his bruise. Zach took his blood pressure and listened to his lungs. It was all very clinical and correct. Exactly what he would expect from a doctor, not the man whose touch yesterday had managed to miraculously pull an aroused response from his half comatose body.
“Headache today?”
Dylan nodded, “Yeah, but I didn’t sleep well last night.”
“Your ribs were too sore?” Zach asked again, his voice brief and detached.
“Yeah.” Dylan agreed, unable to believe that this was it. He’d hoped Zach liked him, would want to have a drink with him or something. Had he been wrong? Was Zach even gay, or had he misread all of those subtle signs from yesterday?
One more prod of his fingers and Dylan was certain he’d got it all wrong.
“All done. No fractures, just bruising and perhaps sprained cartilage. You were very lucky.”
Dylan dropped his eyes to the carpet floor, picking up his T-shirt with his right hand.
“Okay, thanks.” He couldn’t bring himself to look at this guy. He was angry and hurt. He had no reason to feel like that and chastised himself for being stupid.
He pushed to his feet and forced himself to meet Dr Zach Shaw’s level brown stare. He was being ungrateful and needed to do better than that. Zach was an ER surgeon, his time was valuable and the last thing he’d want to do on his time off was doctor people.
“It was really good of you to help me out. I appreciate it.”
He turned the T-shirt in his hands, ready to put it back on, but Zach reached up and grabbed it, holding his hands still.
“I’ve discharged you from my service. I’m no longer your doctor.”
Dylan narrowed his eyes. What was this? Was he just trying to rub it in now? “Yeah, no problem... why...”
Zach’s brown eyes showed anger and a muscle flexed in his jaw, tightening his whole demeanour.
“Good. If you accept that, then I can do this.” Dylan found himself pulled forward into Zach’s arms and those luscious lips descended to press down onto his.

Spotlight on Pick Me Up by @AuthorRBrochu #newrelease @evernightpub #ROTG #mm

Yey, we hit the weekend, and just in case you needed a little Pick me Up, look what I've got for you in my spotlight. Some yummy M/M loving.  Enjoy this little peek at Rebecca Brochu's latest release.

BLURB:
Bryce Huttner wasn’t looking for a one-night stand or a backroom fling when he agreed to go out with Jamie and Maddy, two of his closest friends, to the local club.  But, when he encountered a charming stranger on the dance floor, the man was almost enough to make him change his mind.  That was until the encounter was cut depressingly short.
When they eventually met again, Bryce was surprised to see that Felix’s interest in him had not wavered at all.  Felix seemed determined to win him over and had a never ending supply of horrible pick-up lines at his disposal.
Bryce quickly found himself torn between holding strong and giving into the desire to let Felix pick him up for real.

Be Warned: m/m sex
Excerpt:
“If I kissed you, would you punch me?” Felix asked. He looked down at Bryce where they stood outside his front door.
The porch light Bryce had turned on before he left shined down on them.
Bryce laughed, low and breathy, and watched the way Felix’s eyes went dark. Felix’s hand on his shoulder tightened before  loosening.
“Maybe,” Bryce said. He wasn’t serious, but was somehow unable to keep from teasing Felix. Low heat curled in his stomach, anticipation running high through his veins.
“Cold and cruel. Not sure if I want to risk it when I know how vicious you can be,” Felix said. He swooped down and did it anyway.
Felix’s mouth was soft against Bryce’s, his lips thin but soft. When Bryce opened his mouth for the welcomed thrust of Felix’s tongue, he tasted faint traces of chocolate and coffee. The kiss went hot, but stayed sweet with Felix in control, his mouth a hair shy of too gentle as he tangled his fingers in Bryce’s hair. Felix tilted his head and changed the angle of the kiss, made it deeper, hotter, a shade or two rougher, and Bryce groaned into it.
Bryce finally pulled back far enough to look up into Felix’s eyes. He stared at him, searched his gaze for a moment, and then had to admit he’d already made his decision. He’d made it as soon as Felix asked him out.
“Come inside with me?” he asked softly.
Felix’s eyes went wide then narrowed slightly. “You sure, Bryce? Because I don’t want this to be a one-time thing, I don’t want casual sex with you. If we do this, then I want us to do it right.” Felix’s face was serious, gaze sharp and attention focused.
That same warmth curl worked its way through Bryce’s chest, all because Felix wanted what he wanted. It was glorious.
“Oh yeah, I’m sure. We want the same thing, and we’ve known each other for months now. I’m tired of not admitting what I want, tired of not having you when it’s all I think about,” Bryce said, his voice low and steady, his gaze direct. He wasn’t ashamed of what he wanted, not now, not ever.
“So, I guess it’s safe to say those lines actually did work.” Felix grinned down at him, expression delighted, but filled with heat.
“Shut up,” Bryce said. The words came out as more of a huff before he reached up and pulled Felix back down into another heated kiss.
Felix ended the kiss then, pulled back and nudged Bryce forward to unlock his door. While Bryce was busy, Felix slid up behind him and dropped nipping kisses on the side of his neck. Bryce shivered and fumbled with his key as Felix chuckled, low and warm, behind him until he finally managed to get the door open.
He gestured for Felix to wait on the porch for a second as he slipped inside. He petted Snarl, reminded himself to introduce the two of them later, and then let the dog out into the fenced in yard. Felix waited for him underneath the light of the front porch. When Bryce got back, he noticed the way Felix looked, hair disheveled and mouth slightly swollen. Bryce couldn’t pull him forward into the house and another kiss fast enough.
They were noticeably wilder then. Their hands roamed over each other as Felix closed the door with his foot, and crowded Bryce against the nearest wall. Felix tugged at Bryce’s shirt until it slipped out of his waistband, and wasted no time in getting his hands on Bryce’s skin. He traced his way across Bryce’s stomach and up his chest. Felix raked Bryce’s nipples with his nails. Bryce gasped and bucked his hips up as he broke the kiss. His cock pressed against his zipper painfully as he panted up at Felix.
“Bedroom.” Bryce practically rasped the word out. He groaned low and deep in his throat when Felix’s mouthed at his neck, his tongue skating along his skin before he nipped him sharply.
Bryce pulled Felix’s shirt completely off then tugged at the fly of his pants as they stumbled towards his bedroom. Felix’s hands were just as busy, and by the time they managed to get to Bryce’s room, their shoes and socks were abandoned somewhere behind them. They stood at the end of his bed, panting, and stared at each other for a moment, and then Felix moved. He pushed Bryce, who fell back against the mattress, legs splayed and pants riding low on his hips.
