Flash Fiction Friday - The Last Straw #FFF

I almost didn't participate this week, because the picture just didn't speak to me... and then, suddenly it did! Enjoy The Last Straw....

He spent so much care and attention on that hunk of metal, something had to give.  Hot stuff as she was called always seemed to come first. As far as Idira was concerned, cars were inanimate objects designed to transport you from A to B, not to be fussed over.
"Would you like my coat to wrap the thing in?"
The youngster bouncing on the trampoline in the yard behind them sniggered, but there was no reaction from Alex.
Idira threw her coat at him and walked away, naked as the day she was born. Someone would appreciate the view.

Till next week, folks.
