Flash Fiction Friday - Finally #FFF

Happy Friday, folks. This week might have only been four days for those of us in the UK, thanks to Bank Holiday Monday, but geez it seemed loooong. Mainly due to the dreaded lurgy mowing down the kids one after the other, and, of course, yours truly got it too.

Anyhoo, enough of my tale of woe and on with today's flash. Enjoy, I hope :-)

The soft hands resting on his metal fur were torture and sweet caress all rolled into one. Her scent called to him on the most primal level, and he itched to be free of his bonds. As soon as the moon rose out of those clouds he'd be able to shift. Would she run or would she stay? His senses screamed at him that she was the one to break the curse.
He almost didn’t hear her whispered words, too caught up in the trail of awareness left behind by her fingertips.

"If you're in there, come back to me."

Till next week, folks.

  5. Love it! Oh, Doris. You showed us his pain and desire. Then, in one line you doubled the feeling by showing us hers. Simply beautiful.
