Lantern
held tightly in her hand she cautiously stepped out the frame of her prison.
With the supermoon high in the sky, her chance had come to finally find him.
Heart
beating in her chest, her feet touched solid ground for the first time in over
a hundred years. Tears blurred her vision. The house she was in had long since
been abandoned and the stars mocked her with their merry twinkles.
A
strange hum filled the air, and Selena watched in fascinated horror at the fast
lights chasing after each other high in the sky.
So much had changed.
