Flash Fiction Friday - Now or Never #FFF

Happy Friday folks, Enjoy today's flash.

Lantern held tightly in her hand she cautiously stepped out the frame of her prison. With the supermoon high in the sky, her chance had come to finally find him.
Heart beating in her chest, her feet touched solid ground for the first time in over a hundred years. Tears blurred her vision. The house she was in had long since been abandoned and the stars mocked her with their merry twinkles.
A strange hum filled the air, and Selena watched in fascinated horror at the fast lights chasing after each other high in the sky.
            So much had changed.

Friday Flashers have 100 words to tell a story from the provided picture prompt. Do check out the other flashers. You won't be disappointed. :-)

Till next week, folks.
