#MWTease from Rescued by her Alien Warriors "You're taking the ship into Battle?" #releaseday @sirenbookstrand #mmf #scifi #giveaway

It's Mid Week Tease time and a special day it is for me, because it's Release Day!

Join me in my Happy Dance! Yep, I'm doing it like a penguin today...

*grins*

Well, that should probably be like an Alien, but never mind.

Release days never get old, I tell you. I've shared plenty of hot teases from Rescued by her Alien Warriors over the last few weeks, so  I thought I would share a moment, where it dawns on Sapphyre that she is indeed on a Warship.

Being a mum, her first concern is for her daughter, of course, but she can't help worry over her Warriors too...

Sapphyre cleared her throat.
“Is it true? You’re taking the ship into battle? What does that mean for Jayde and me? You promised to keep her safe. How is taking this ship into battle keeping her safe? And who the hell are you fighting this time? Cirrions? Who are the Brandyroon, and —”
Alzaar held up his hand to stop her tumble of words, and Bentaan looked uncomfortable.
“If you stop talking for one minute, woman, I will explain it to you. Even though I do not owe you an explanation.” Alzaar growled the words and parts of Sapphyre just melted.
As cross as she was with him, her feminine side couldn’t help but respond to his virile masculinity. Coupled with his natural dominance, it was a heavy aphrodisiac indeed.
“Commander, take it easy.” Bentaan’s softly spoken words seemed to only inflame Alzaar further. He shook off the hand Bentaan had placed on his arm, and got up and paced. A restless energy surrounded him, and Bentaan sighed and adjusted his weapon’s belt.
“Things will get rough around here for a while, Sapphyre.”
Alzaar snorted at that.
“Rough is one way of putting it. I told you not to sugar coat this for the human. This is why she should not be on board.” He pinned his attention back on Sapphyre, and she swallowed hard at what she saw in his eyes.
Grim determination warred with excitement and annoyance, and his next words were succinct and hit home.
“We are going into war. The Tamarillion is the biggest and deadliest war ship in this sector. Our allies, the Brandyroons, are under attack from the Cirrion scum. Their fighters are attacking the galactic planes where Drakan outposts are situated. It is my duty to defend our allies. There are innocent women and children on those moons. They need protecting.”
There was a curious note to his last few words, and Bentaan, too, looked incredibly sad all of a sudden. Sapphyre sensed there was more at stake here than just orders. This almost seemed personal to the men, but now was not the time to ask them. Sapphyre realized that she placed a burden on them just by being here, but she hadn’t asked to be brought on board, damn it.
“That’s as may be,” she said, earning herself a glare to freeze the blood in her veins from Alzaar and a raised eyebrow from Bentaan. “But I’m more concerned about my daughter’s safety than some unknown alien women and children. Are these Brandyroon even humanoid?”
Alzaar slammed his fist on the table and Sapphyre jumped and leaned back as he pushed himself right into her personal space.
“What difference does that make, human? They need our protection. To not help them would make us nothing more than animals. Back on your world it might have been the norm to abandon people and only look out for yourself, but you are on my ship now and I—”
“I’m sorry, that came out wrong.” Sapphyre interrupted him, blood rushing in her ears. Really, what had gotten into her today? “Of course you need to help them, and you’re right, it doesn’t make any difference if they have six heads and two tails and fly, but I need to explain this to Jayde, and I need all the facts.”
Some of the harshness seemed to seep out of Alzaar at her whispered apology, and he sat back down with a heavy thump.
“Please explain it all to me, and how Jayde and I can stay out of the way. I know we shouldn’t be here. Hell, I don’t want us to be here stuck on board while you go off to fight. She’ll worry, and she’s seen enough fighting to last her several lifetimes.”
Alzaar nodded just once and Bentaan grasped her hand and squeezed. The action caused her tummy to flip flop over in excitement and Sapphyre mentally rolled her eyes at herself. So what that they were seven foot hunks of male perfection? So what if their battle armor made them look even more imposing and dangerous? She was a grown woman for fuck’s sake, not some impressionable teenager, so why then was her body reacting as though she had never been touched by a man before?
She would never act on this attraction between them, and it was abundantly clear that Alzaar, certainly, didn’t want her on board his ship. The jury was still out on Bentaan.
“Listen to me, Sapphyre,” Bentaan said, and his deep rumbly voice soothed her frayed nerves. “There is no need to worry over us. We’re warriors. This is what we do. The ship will not be put in harm’s way during this. The Cirrion fighters are smaller than us. They decided to launch a sneak attack on the moons, because they knew they wouldn’t be protected. The moons are rich with gems that the Cirrions want. We will launch a counter attack with our own smaller fighters. It’s been a while since we had the chance to do so. I’m rather looking forward to getting my sword bloody, right, Alzaar?”
A grim smile played around Alzaar’s lips, and Sapphyre was once again reminded of the ruthless warriors they were rumored to be. They certainly lived up to their reputation right now.
“It will be good to exact some vengeance,” Alzaar said.
“Too damn right,” Bentaan agreed, and Sapphyre got the distinct impression that she was missing something important here.
“All you have to do is keep Jayde with you.” Alzaar spoke again and Sapphyre nodded. “I do not want her running around the ship and getting in the way. We will have to move fast, and while the ship’s shields will hold, there will be turbulence. I do not expect the Cirrions to give in easily. The fighters can’t harm us, but if their mothership turns up, it may.”
He, too, reached across to take Sapphyre’s other hand at her sharp intake of breath in response to his words.
“I say may, because I will not lie to you, ever.”
His voice dropped an octave and his crystal gaze grew so intense, Sapphyre could only nod in answer.
“The worst scenario is that they will drop their cloak, surprise us, and somehow manage to break through our shields. None of which will happen, because we will be ready for them. On the off chance of this occurring there is an outside chance of them breaching the hull and boarding us.”
“A very, very slim chance, Alzaar. Stop scaring her,” Bentaan cut in, and squeezed Sapphyre’s hand again. She gave him a wan smile and shook her head.
“No, I need to hear this. We need to be prepared, just in case. If that happens, what do you want me to do?”
Approval lit up both men’s faces, and their unspoken praise warmed Sapphyre’s bruised heart, and some of her worry lifted. She had no doubt that these two would do everything in their power to keep the ship safe.
“Jayde will be scared and she will need her mother,” Alzaar continued. “Stay in my quarters unless otherwise instructed. Can you do that?”
“Yes, I can.”
“Good, then you are prepared.”
Alzaar leant back in his chair, and thus dismissed, Sapphyre got up to leave, but Bentaan stopped her.
“The Brandyroon are humanoid, by the way. They have red skin, no tails and can’t fly. I know Jayde will want the details. She is most curious, that daughter of yours.”
He winked at her, and Sapphyre smiled.
“You can say that again. Stay safe, both of you, please.”
Alzaar’s eyes widened in surprise at her words, and Bentaan smiled.
“We will be. We’re good at this.”

[Siren Ménage Amour: Erotic Futuristic Sci-Fi Ménage a Trois, M/M/F, with M/M elements, HEA]

A warship is no place for a human mother and her child. However, Drakan Commander Alzaar and his second-in-command, Bentaan, have no choice but to bring Sapphyre and Jayde on board. Not least, because their instincts scream at them that she is the one woman who can turn them into a family again.

Sapphyre just wants to keep her daughter safe. How on earth does she do that surrounded by droolworthy Aliens, when her libido keeps leading her astray? It is abundantly clear that Alzaar doesn't want her on board the ship. At least Bentaan does and the sex is out of this world. If only her heart wasn't involved, and she didn't want both of them.

When the Tamarillion is attacked, Sapphyre has to fight for her men and the ship she now calls home. Without her all would be lost, and Alzaar finally shows his emotions.

However, when regulations and their pasts collide, can they rescue each other?
