Happy Monday, News, and Winners!

I hope you're all having a great Monday! Mine started out with a writing induced headache, as I'm knee deep in a new wip that will just not leave me alone.

My muse has decided that my free read Mr. Satisfaction Guaranteed
needs to be a series, so I am working on Natasha's story. A cancer survivor who books Mr. SG in an effort to regain her sexuality.

Well, if you've read the original Mr. Satisfaction Guaranteed, then you'll know that nothing is as it seems with this particular escort service. And if you thought that book was hot ... well ... I would have finished writing it by now if I didn't need to keep on stopping and standing in front of a fan!

*grins*

I am having great fun with this, truth be told.

In more good news,  I got an acceptance to another story last week, involving a naughty genie. More details to follow, once I've signed on the dotted line, but 2013 is looking to be a very naughty year writing wise for me.

Which brings me very neatly for the reason behind this post.

I have the winners for the two New Year's Blog Hops I took part in, chosen with the help of random.org.

New Year's Blog Hop

Drea is my Grand Price winner! She gets to pick the name of my next heroine.

Winning a PDF copy from my back list are:

Vanessa N and  Veronika

Naughty New Year's Blog Hop

Beckey wins the $10.00 Amazon Gift Certificate

Winning a PDF copy from my back list are:

Carin and Dee Thomas

****

That's you all up to date for now.

Thank you again all who took part in the Hops, and stay naughty!

Winners and #nanowrimo update

Firstly, a big thank you to all of you who hopped on by during the Autumn Harvest Blog. I loved hearing about your Autumn memories, and what the season means to you.

I've chosen my winners with the help of random.org.

Cassandra wins a copy of Masks Of A Tiger

Angels Cove and crystaley73 both win a copy from my back list!

****

Now, onto other things, you will note in the side bar, I am running two giveaways on Goodreads. This is in celebration of my birthday, and the small fact that this Friday marks the one year Anniversary of my being published. More about that on Friday, so do hop on by then, because it's release day for Masks Of A Tiger, and I'll be having a bit of a party!!

*big grin*

And last but by no means least, if you follow my ramblings you will know that I'm taking part in NaNoWriMo this month. My project was book three of the Giovanni. Originally I was going to start from scratch, but after re-reading the 25 K I already had of the story, I decided to edit those 25 K, rewriting and adding, as I went along and then kept going. As a result I got back into the story, my fingers flew and I typed those wonderful words The End under 'Too Devious To Tame' in the early hours of Sunday morning.

*squees and jumps about like a loon*

As you may have guessed, I am rather happy about that, because I'd stalled on that story for so long, it is a fabulous feeling to know that it's done. It currently stands at 56 K in all its unedited glory. I'm sure once I've given it a good edit, and my crit partner has got her red pen out, it will be closer to 60 K. I can already see that a few scenes will need expanding and I have the distinct impression that she will tell me off and make me add a sex scene. She does like details and tells me off for cheating!

*snorts*

So, my current Nano Total is 32,811 K after I wrote a Christmas short and added that to my total too. So, I need a new project to hit my Nano Goal.

I know the aim is to write 50 K on one novel, so I am cheating slightly, but hey, they are all new words after all. I am aiming for another 50 K story with my new project, which is called, Unwanted Innocence.

I spent a happy couple of hours putting my pinterest board together for the story, and my new hero has been whispering in my ear ever since, so I need to get off here and start writing.

Wish me luck!

Oh and check the new story out here :-)

Happy Halloween, Release day, Blog Hop winners and NaNoWriMo

Happy Halloween folks.

This is a bit of a jam packed post, so bear with me.

First off, thank you all, who commented on my Howloween post. I have my winners, chosen with the help of random.org.

Congratulations to SJ Thomas and Samantha Veerasamy, who have both won a copy from my back list.

And a little drum roll, please. It's release day! I have just the thing for you for some spooky reading tonight.

Freaky flashes are 13 Sexy Halloween Quickies, guaranteed to raise a flutter or two. Mine may or may not involve a creature of the night.

Available now from Breathless Press.

Of course Halloween means it's the end of October and NaNoWriMo will start tomorrow.

*gulp*

My Nano project this year will be book three of the Giovanni Clan. Between you and me this has proven to a bit of a personal nemesis. You see, Book one, Too Hot To Handle was written during NaNo 2010, and I launched straight into Book two, Too Cold To Love, and then this one, Too Devious To Tame. However, 20 K into this story I ground to a halt. Irrevocably and with a big jarring screech.

I got on with other projects, including the eventual overhaul and polish of the first two books, who have since found a home with Evernight Publishing, and I know lots of you love the Giovanni. Which is wonderful, but, of course, it meant I had to address this stubbornly elusive book three. I have tried several times to pick up the thread. I even started a complete re-write, and yes, you guessed it, I ground to a halt.

Why is that, you may ask? Well, in large part it's due to the way I write. I'm a complete and utter panster, so unless my characters are talking, nothing gets written, and I have had a fair few heroes since then growling at me much more strongly than one broody Italian Vineyard owner. And also, I pretty much know the story, and that may well be my problem. Nothing puts my muse off faster than a plotted story.

I know, I know, it *should* make it easier, but alas, not to my contrary little muse. She can be a right stubborn little moo when it comes to it. So I am giving myself permission to forget all my preconceived notions about where this story ought to be heading, and I will just close my eyes and listen to Giorgio. Because he has been whispering in my ear lately, quietly at first, but he's getting louder. Jemima too is making her opinions known, so come tomorrow I will open up a brand new word doc and just allow the words to flow.

Even if it turns out to be complete nonsense... Can't write a novel when there are no words, but I can rescue one out of what will no doubt be an interesting first draft.

So, wish me luck, folks. I am going to need it!

Alpha Male Blog Hop and Just Vamps Blog Hop Winners

Hello everyone. I had to drag myself out of bed this morning, literally drag myself. Because it's cold, and damp, and foggy, and downright miserable here in the UK today.

However, one school run later, which made me wonder why on earth I bothered to straighten my hair this morning - frizzRus again(!) - and with several coffees in me, the world looks brighter.

Picking winners always cheers me up! A big thank you to all of you who took the time to visit my blog and leave a comment. It was truly lovely to meet you all.

*big grin*

I know what you're thinking... Stop rambling woman, and announce the winners already.

So, chosen with the help of Random.org

The winner of a copy of Just Vamps is: Tessa

The winners from The Alpha Blog Hop are:  Jy122075 and J. Lenni Dorner
They both win an e-book of their choice from my backlist.

Blog Hop winner and news

Good morning all. The sun is streaming in through my curtains, the kids are screeching, and I am sitting here, desperately trying to wake up.

It's the summer hols and my lovely brood is in full, fighting form. The first week is always the most trying, as they all adjust to each other being home.

United Nations Peace keeping has nothing on me! Hence I'm nursing the coffee, cause late nights is the only time for me to get anything done, that requires concentration, let alone peace and quiet...

Gotta love school holidays!

So, forgive me for being slightly late in announcing the winner of the BDSM unleashed blog hop, which is...

Christine :-)

(chosen with the help of random.org)

Hope you enjoy my tigers!

In other news I am incredibly excited to be able to announce that my debut novel Lure Of the Blood   is now available in print!

*dances*

You can purchase it here and I'm told it will be available through Amazon within a week. I must admit I can't wait to hold an actual physical copy of my book in my hands. A dream come true.

My other bit of news is that I'm in the process of re-writing book three of the Giovanni, which has involved scrapping 20 K of work. Painful? You bet, but it wasn't working the way it was going, and hence it had ground to a halt. I'm feeling quite positive about the changes I'm envisaging, though I get the impression this will be a slow process. Not helped by the school hols. You do not want to know how long it took me to just write this simple blog post.

*headdesk*

And with that I best wade back into the warring masses. You would simply not believe what they can argue about! It's quite an art form, I tell you.

Have a great week, folks, and enjoy the sunshine, if you have some. It's gloriously hot here in the UK for a change.

Thursday, 5 July 2012

And the winners are...

Thank you to all who hopped on by in the 4th of July Blog Hop. It's been great fun, as usual!

The winners, chosen with the help of random.org are:

KayLyn, who wins a copy of Tiger Scars

NayNay, who gets to chose a book from my back list.

Cover Reveal and Blog Hop Winners

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter. I have been a busy bee and have eaten far too much chocolate, but hey chocolate and edits go hand in hand, right?

At least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I have just sent back second edits for Riding Her Tiger and I now have my cover.

Don't you just love it? I came over all unnecessary as my Gran would have said, when I spotted this in my inbox, because it fits the images in my head so perfectly. Evernight has the most wonderful cover artists, who somehow transfer my ramblings on the Cover Art Request form into a thing of beauty :-)

Here is the unedited blurb:

Can one night change your life forever?

Estelle has been lusting after her kinky boss Nathan for ages, but how you do you snare a much older Dom? You enlist the help of the internet.

Matched to exploration facilitator Ink, Estelle explores her submissive fantasies to the full. When online sex turns to a real life ménage will a case of mistaken identity ruin her chances with Nathan?

Or will the shifter claim his mate?

Here is a little very hot excerpt. Be warned, this is heat level 4. I have joined the big girl's bench ;-)

Her skin tightened, and her clit throbbed in time with the waves rushing through her. She shuddered when cool air hit her wet flesh, before she encountered smooth leather. Ink pushed her down until her breasts were flattened against the padded bench, and she gasped as her legs and arms were fastened. Before she could panic at being restrained to the spanking bench, Grisha's face was in front of her.
"Focus, sweetheart, on me. Breathe with me, and count the strokes." He looked behind her, and Ink's warm hands massaged her butt cheeks.
"She really has a fantastic ass, Grisha. She'll look hot as sin when it's nice and pink from our hands." Ink's voice send tingles of awareness through her, and her panic subsided. His hand dipped lower and spread her pussy lips. He bit her ass, and she squirmed when his fingers sank deep into her already weeping channel. He curled them into a figure of eight, and Estelle panted her excitement as her sensitized tissues responded instantly.
She closed her eyes against the knowing smirk on Grisha's face.
"How is she doing, Ink? Though I bet she's wet for us."
Estelle screwed her eyes shut tighter at Ink's chuckled confirmation.
"Now remember, Estelle, no coming until I give you permission, or you'll be strapped to this thing for a very long time indeed." Ink's voice had lost its amusement, and Estelle breathed her confirmation.
"Good girl, sweetheart, you can do it." Grisha brushed a kiss across her lips. "Now count."
The first slap took her by surprise, and she screeched.
"Count, Estelle." Ink's voice brooked no argument.
"O…one." She bit back tears and barely caught her breath before the next slap came. "Two." Slap. "Three…"
Grisha's hands massaged her shoulders. He murmured Russian words she didn't understand, the warmth of his hands chasing away the goose bumps spreading over her body. Her butt on fire, the strange floating sensations returned. Her pussy clenched with each slap of Ink's hand across her ass until all of her senses heightened. Every trickle of her arousal down her legs left a wave of fire in its wake, sensations too intense to name consuming her. Her body climbed, tensing, clenching, clamoring for the tension within to burst to freedom.
With one last slap hard enough to send her body forward along the bench as far as the restraints would allow, Estelle breathed,"Fifteen."
"Good girl, you did so well." She hardly heard Grisha over the rushing in her ears, her heart beating so loudly, she felt sick. She winced at the coolness placed over her burning ass, and when her restraints were removed she collapsed into Ink's arms.
