Flash Fiction Friday - Terror #FFF

Happy Friday, folks. A bit of a dark take from me on this week's picture.

Liam woke up with a start, clutching his pillow as though his life depended on it, while holding onto Lily-Ann’s shivering form with the other. Why the hell were they all wet? Had the water bed sprung a leak?
“Whatever you do, don’t move.” Lily-Ann’s croaky whisper spoke of her terror, and it was then the reality of their situation hit him.
“Fuck, not again. They said this wouldn’t happen again.”
Lily-Ann whimpered and he froze as, he too, felt something touch his foot. Icy fingers caressed his calf and threatened to pull him into the stream of the dead.
